Internship: Biotech Venture Developer

Your Role

  • Scout and evaluate early-stage innovations with the potential to become successful Biotech companies.
  • Support the development and execution of sourcing strategies
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation to track progress and outcomes
  • Conduct high-level due diligence through scientific deep-dives, market research, and competition analysis.
  • Support processes in venture creation to enhance quality, efficiency, and speed.

Your Profile

  • Enrolled in an MSc program in biology, biomedical sciences, or a related scientific field, or have an entrepreneurial background with strong expertise in translational research.
  • Previous internship experiences in venture capital, accelerators/incubators, technology transfer offices, industry, life science consulting, or biotech startups is a plus.
  • Passionate about innovation and entrepreneurship in Life Sciences.
  • Strong professional communication skills in English.
  • Based in the Netherlands (visa sponsorship is not available).

Skills and attributes: 

  • You are flexible and skilled at multitasking on complex projects, with strong project management abilities.
  • You thrive in fast-changing, unpredictable environments and can make decisions in dynamic situations.
  • You are a collaborative team player, but also able to work independently and take ownership of your tasks.

  • A full-time internship of 5–6 months, based at the Amsterdam office
