SharePoint and Power Platform Tech Lead

El Segundo, CA

nLogic is seeking a SharePoint and Power Platform Tech Lead to support a mission-focused effort in the El Segundo area.

In this role, you will lead the technical and Agile delivery efforts to modernize a legacy SharePoint Server environment into SharePoint Online, guiding solution design, sprint execution, and Power Platform–enabled modernization. You’ll translate legacy workflows into secure, cloud‑based solutions while driving a consistent delivery cadence, ensuring quality, and aligning technical outcomes with organizational standards. Working within a highly collaborative team, you will shape the modernization approach, coordinate cross‑stakeholder efforts, and provide both technical leadership and Scrum Master support to enable successful transformation of mission‑critical collaboration platforms.

The MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (MSEIT) effort provides leading edge Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) for the Space Force’s Space Systems Command. We support the Space Force’s acquisition of state-of-the-art Military Satellite Communications systems, providing global secure protected communications for our nation’s warfighters. We seek technical individuals who will thrive in a highly collaborative work environment of small teams, using the most modern tools and methodologies to tackle the challenges of integrating complex space and ground communications systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the modernization of a SharePoint Server 2016 environment into SharePoint Online using Microsoft 365 and Power Platform
  • Serve as Technical Lead and Scrum Master, guiding sprint planning, execution, and continuous delivery
  • Translate legacy workflows and business processes into modern SPO and Power Platform solutions
  • Define and enforce technical standards, architecture patterns, and governance best practices
  • Manage Power Platform solution lifecycle across Dev/Test/Prod with controlled deployments
  • Oversee and coordinate SharePoint migration activities, ensuring data integrity and smooth transition
  • Create clear technical documentation and communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • Collaborate with business and IT partners to refine requirements and prioritize modernization needs
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and architectural constraints, driving timely resolution
  • Foster a collaborative Agile environment and provide direction to team members.


Required Qualifications:

  • Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance required (U.S. citizenship is mandatory). A clearance active within the last 24 months is considered current.
  • BS degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or computer information systems
  • 5+ years of IT experience supporting SharePoint environments
  • 3+ years of work experience with SharePoint Online / Microsoft 365 in an enterprise setting.
  • 2+ years of work experience developing solutions using Power Apps/Power Automate
  • Experience managing Power Platform application lifecycle using Solutions across Dev/Test/Prod, including environment variables, connection references, and controlled deployments.
  • Demonstrated experience leading at least one SharePoint Server (2013/2016/2019) to SharePoint Online migration (end-to-end or major work stream lead)
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint architecture (sites, hubs, libraries, metadata, permissions), Identity and access concepts (Entra ID/Azure AD groups, least privilege), and Governance and life-cycle management patterns
  • Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead teams, make decisions, and drive delivery without heavy oversight.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Secret or higher clearance
  • MS degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or computer information systems
  • Experience in DoD contractor or government environments supporting Microsoft 365 GCC / GCC High including CUI handling and contract driven compliance requirements
  • Experience modernizing SharePoint legacy workflow platforms to Power Automate and Classic Publishing Portals to modern communication sites/hubs
  • Familiarity with limitations and best practices in high-security tenants (app restrictions, sharing controls, third-party add-in constraints)
  • Architectural experience integrating SPO with Teams, Power Platform, and Azure services
  • Understanding of API limits, Search schema customization, Tenant-wide impacts of configuration choices
  • SharePoint solution experience using SPFx and / or Typescript.
  • Experience developing normalized data structures.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools (GitHub Copilot) to assist coding development and test.

  • This is a full-time role performed on-site in El Segundo, CA.
  • Compensation: The anticipated salary range for this position is $127,000 to $185,000
