A Day In The Life Of Our National Director of Clinical Sales
Strategic Leadership & Vision:
- Develop and execute a national clinical sales strategy that aligns with overall business objectives, driving both patient care excellence and revenue growth targets.
- Set clear short- and long-term targets, including clinical adoption plans, pathway to proficiency milestones, launch timing and revenue milestones, while ensuring continuous innovation in clinical support practices.
Team Building & Talent Development:
- Recruit, build, and lead a high-performing clinical sales team across the nation, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous professional development.
- Partner with Sales Education to inform our training programs, mentoring initiatives, and performance management processes to develop clinical sales talent, ensuring team members are equipped to exceed patient and revenue targets.
Revenue & Patient Target Accountability:
- Take full ownership of national disposable revenue by setting aggressive, measurable targets and closely monitoring progress against key performance indicators.
- Leverage data-driven insights to optimize clinical sales strategies, adjust tactics in real time, and ensure that clinical support activities directly contribute to enhanced patient care and sustainable business growth.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as a bridge between clinical sales, product development, and marketing teams, ensuring seamless integration of customer feedback and clinical insights into strategic planning.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare providers and industry leaders, to shape market strategies and drive innovation in clinical solutions.
- Help foster a collaborative OneTeam culture where clinical and capital sales work seamlessly together to deliver for customers.
- Develop and execute plans to build in more “top of funnel” generation for the capital team through the clinical sales team’s efforts. Ensure clinical sales helps with timely closure of conversion and service contracts.
Operational Excellence & Process Improvement:
- Lead initiatives to continuously improve sales processes, tools, and methodologies, ensuring operational efficiency and the highest standards of clinical customer support.
- Establish, monitor, and report on KPIs related to team performance, patient satisfaction, and revenue achievement, using these insights to drive ongoing improvements in clinical sales operations.
Market Leadership & Brand Advocacy:
- Serve as a key spokesperson for the organization in national clinical forums, industry events, and professional networks.
- Drive initiatives that enhance brand recognition and position the company as a leader in delivering innovative, patient-centered clinical solutions.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 12 years of experience (including 5+ years in sales operations and/or sales management).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Self-motivated with demonstrated strengths in managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, changing environment, and driving them to
