Who is Ambulatory Anesthesia Care? We are a compassionate group of anesthesia providers in Texas delivering high quality and efficient care to our long-held and ever-growing list of ambulatory surgery centers, office-based anesthesia locations and acute care surgical hospitals. Founded in 2011, AAC Southwest continues to expand in size and footprint. AAC Southwest currently serves locations in DFW, Houston, El Paso, Corpus Christi and Austin. We provide anesthesia services for the following specialties: Orthopedics, Gynecology, ENT, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Ortho/Neuro Spine, Pain Management, Podiatry, Urology and Dental (Pediatric and Adult).
Why Ambulatory Anesthesia Care?
- No Call. When cases are done for the day, we are done for the day.
- No Nights. Late-day coverage rarely ends after 6PM.
- No Weekends. Elective Saturday cases are covered by providers on a volunteer basis who are rewarded with additional compensation.
- Low-Stress Practice: No Obstetrics, no Cardiothoracic, no Trauma, no Neonates.
- Professional Growth: AAC Southwest offers clinical management opportunities and on-going educational opportunities such as sponsoring attendance at ultra-sound guided regional anesthesia courses for qualified providers.
- Flexible Scheduling: Credentialing across multiple facilities allows for early-out requests and personalized schedules.
Compensation:
- Full time opportunities available

- Time away from the practice starts at over 6 weeks per year, including federal holidays when sites of service are closed (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving and Christmas).
Schedule
- Typically averages 35-45 hours week with seasonal variation
Qualifications – CRNA
- NBCRNA board certified or eligible
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, ambulatory environment
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to several client sites (but rarely more than one per day).
