Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and upkeep of our equipment, machinery, and facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Preventive Maintenance:
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Follow established maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Troubleshooting and Repairs:
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
  • Repair or replace faulty components as necessary.
  • Resolve maintenance issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Safety Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
  • Identify and address potential safety hazards.
• Record Keeping:
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment conditions.
• Emergency Response:
  • Respond to emergency maintenance situations and take appropriate action.
• General Maintenance:
  • Perform general maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, painting, and minor repairs.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a professional kitchen environment.
• Strong mechanical and technical skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals
• Knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing systems
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects
• Legal right to work in Canada
