Program Manager, Engineering & Operations (Temp-to-Hire)

We’re seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Program Manager, Engineering & Operations (Temp-to-Hire) to lead and scale our manufacturing support team. In this key role, you’ll manage daily operations across logistics, production support, and process documentation—ensuring we meet our quality, compliance, and delivery goals. You’ll work cross-functionally to drive improvements and help us prepare for successful commercialization.
Responsibilities:
- Operations Support: Partner with the VP of Operations to plan, coordinate, and execute manufacturing and supply chain initiatives
- Production Readiness: Assist in setting up production lines and maintaining thorough process documentation
- Inventory & Traceability: Oversee inventory accuracy and material tracking to ensure regulatory compliance
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements to increase operational efficiency and product quality. Implement enterprise software in support of business growth
- Hands-On Troubleshooting: Support on-site device kitting, programming, and return material processing
- Documentation & Compliance: Draft and update manufacturing process instructions and ensure alignment with calibration and quality standards
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, clinical, and quality teams to support trials and product launch
- Training & Development: Facilitate employee training and champion best practices in documentation and operational workflows
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, supply chain, or quality assurance.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Proven ability to troubleshoot, prioritize, and drive resolution in fast-paced environments
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Highly self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, with emphasis on spreadsheets
- Comfortable with extended periods of physical activity (e.g., sitting or standing)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with laser cutting, 3D printing, or electronics fabrication
- Previous experience in a medtech, biotech, or regulated manufacturing environment
- Experience with building prototypes, small scale programming (raspberry pie, etc.)
Compensation:
- $55-$70 per hour (temp-to-hire)
