Medical Science Liaison

We’re seeking a strategic, relationship-driven Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to represent the medical affairs program at Noctrix Health. This individual will lead the successful execution of medical affairs strategy while also contributing to strategy formation. You will disseminate and collaboratively discuss medical information and clinical evidence with key stakeholders in the management of restless legs syndrome (RLS), including healthcare providers, key opinion leaders, patient advocacy groups, and medical societies. This role requires up to 30% travel for conferences and in-person meetings.
This position reports to the Chief Scientific Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Develop strong relationships with scientific and medical experts in sleep medicine and neurology, and disseminate credible and influential clinical and scientific information
- Lead frequent meetings (virtual and in-person) with medical advisors and clinical collaborators
- Meet regularly with healthcare providers and RLS prescribers to raise awareness of clinical evidence and solicit feedback on future strategy
- Enhance the impact of the speakers bureau by organizing peer-to-peer events, developing presentation content, and leading speaker training
- Identify and develop opportunities to disseminate scientific evidence, increase awareness of the burden of RLS, and amplify advances in clinical practice guidelines
- Gather feedback from key opinion leaders and share insights cross-functionally within Noctrix Health to influence product, regulatory, and reimbursement strategy
- Lead training of cross-functional teams on clinical and medical evidence while incorporating feedback from RLS experts and prescribers
- Expand the influence of the medical affairs program by building new relationships with strategic advisors, collaborators, and professional societies
- Respond to inbound requests for medical and scientific information in a compliant and timely manner
- Represent Noctrix Health at medical and scientific conferences, leading the dissemination of clinical and scientific information at these events
Requirements:
- Doctorate degree required (PhD, MD, PharmD); MD strongly preferred
- 5+ years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in an MSL role within a related field
- Prior MSL experience in sleep medicine or neurology
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex scientific and medical information clearly and credibly to diverse audiences, including HCPs, researchers, payors, patients, and industry colleagues
- Innovative mindset with demonstrated ability to identify and develop new opportunities aligned with organizational strategy
- Strong understanding of compliance regulations relevant to medical affairs activities
- Proven flexibility and ability to learn rapidly in a fast-paced, growing organization
- Ability to travel up to 30% for conferences, meetings, and peer-to-peer events
Compensation:
- Base pay: $180,000–$210,000 per year + 10% bonus + stock options
