Supply Chain Manager

About the Role
Zephyr is looking for a Manager of Supply Chain to own vendor & inventory management. This is a full-time role that will report to the Vice President of Operations and be fully remote.
What You’ll Do Here:
- Responsible for vendor management, inventory management, and materials and equipment purchasing for Zephyr.
- Responsible for reducing expenses by:
- (1) ensuring that all vendors honor Zephyr-negotiated pricing and volume rebates;
- (2) ensuring that Zephyr Branches purchase from Zephyr-preferred vendors; and
- (3) sharing efficient / data-driven best practices for purchasing and logistics with all Zephyr Branches.
- Establish and promulgate Zephyr policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for purchasing, receiving, efficient warehouse operations, vehicle materials stock, materials replenishment, vehicle acquisitions, and vehicle maintenance to all current Zephyr Branches and all new Zephyr acquisitions or greenfield Branch growth.
- Create a culture of efficient Technician support at all Zephyr Branches ensuring that the logistics system reduces opportunity costs by ensuring that technicians receive all of the materials that they need in the most efficient manner.
We’d Love to Hear From You if You Have:
- HVAC experience, preferably OEM or distributor experience, is required
- Experience with vendor management
- Excited to join a quickly growing start-up
The pay for this position is $120,000/year or more depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Equity and other incentive pay may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
