The Role:

Degree Heating & Cooling is seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to the company’s plan by always looking for ways to improve technician efficiency by having the proper truck stock, limited warehouse stockouts, accurate inventory counts, and efficient part runner dispatching. You will ensure that we can accomplish our growth plans by having new vehicles on site and ready for new staff as they come on board. You will ensure that our vendor relationships are strong and a win for both parties. You will manage warehouse staff and drive them to maintain a safe and accountable workplace. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimize Truck Stock: Ensure technicians have the right tools and parts in their vehicles to complete jobs efficiently. Regularly review and adjust inventory based on usage patterns.
  • Prevent Warehouse Stockouts: Implement inventory management practices to maintain optimal stock levels, reducing delays in job completion.
  • Accurate Inventory Counts: Conduct regular audits to maintain precise inventory records, preventing discrepancies that could hinder operations.
  • Efficient Part Runner Dispatching: Coordinate timely delivery of parts to technicians, minimizing downtime and enhancing productivity.

Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations
    • 2+ years of experience in a sales capacity
  • Licenses
    • Drivers License
  • Skills
    • Strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, warehouse management

Physical Requirements: 

    • Ability to work in various conditions
