About This Role
At Plumbing Systems Inc. (PSI), we take pride in doing things the right way — with skill, integrity, and dedication to our customers. As an HVAC Technician, you'll diagnose and repair heating and cooling systems, help guide customers to informed and confident decisions, and deliver top-notch service that reflects PSI’s high standards.
What You’ll Do

Complete a wide range of residential HVAC service calls with precision and care.

Build trust and rapport with homeowners to recommend products and services that fit their needs.

Ask insightful questions to pinpoint issues and provide effective solutions.

Walk customers through financing options and maintenance plans to protect their investment.

Identify and explain replacement opportunities for aging, inefficient, or underperforming systems.

Hold yourself accountable to meet and exceed individual revenue targets.

Present yourself as a knowledgeable, friendly professional to earn repeat business and referrals.

Coordinate closely with our customer service and dispatch teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Keep your truck well-stocked and job sites clean and organized.

Participate in daily training sessions, team meetings, and occasional trade shows or retreats.

Mentor and train apprentices to develop future talent.

Complete invoices, option sheets, and timecards accurately and promptly.
What You Bring

Active license and thorough knowledge of local HVAC codes.

Strong technical skills backed by the ability to draw and interpret diagrams and blueprints.

Commitment to ongoing learning and professional certifications (like NATE).

Excellent organization and follow-through to see tasks through from start to finish.

Outstanding communication skills – both verbal and written.

High integrity, positive attitude, and strong interpersonal skills.

Proven experience installing, replacing, and servicing HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings.

What to Expect on the Job

Prioritize safety in all aspects of work, following OSHA standards and safe practices.

Physical demands include standing, walking, climbing ladders, working in tight spaces, and lifting 50+ lbs.

Work in various weather conditions throughout the seasons.

Standard schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 am–5:00 pm, with occasional on-call rotation.
The pay for this position is $35-$45/hour or more depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location, plus performance based incentives. Other incentive pay may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
