Performance Marketing Manager
Position Summary
Nomad Health is looking for an experienced performance marketer to lead our online paid acquisition campaigns, reporting to our VP, Marketing. In this role, you will oversee paid acquisition strategy, manage campaigns across multiple channels, and drive growth by analyzing data, and optimizing campaigns for maximum return on investment (ROI). The ideal candidate has prior experience independently managing various online channels including SEM (Google, Bing, CTV, etc.), paid social (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) sponsored content and influencer marketing.
This role is critical to increasing engagement of our registered clinicians and growing the top-of-funnel. The ideal candidate is collaborative, data-driven, and highly-motivated with proven success in paid media campaign optimization.
Responsibilities/What You Will Do
- Execute on day-to-day paid initiatives, including news and trends research, keyword research, competitor analysis, budget management, development of ad creative briefs, negative keyword management, A/B testing, etc.
- Manage campaign budgets/pacing and optimize for cost-per-lead (CPL) and customer acquisition cost (CAC).
- In partnership with the BI team, leverage conversion tracking, first-party data, and analytics tools to improve efficiency.
- Track, analyze, and report on funnel metrics: impressions, CTRs, conversions, CPL, CAC, and ROI, etc.
- Deliver on revenue and marketing efficiency targets by constructing and optimizing a robust online advertising portfolio.
- Play a key role in evolving our paid media KPIs / OKRs, analytical systems, and business processes as we continue to scale.
- Develop rigorous experimentation frameworks that result in significant learnings, ultimately increasing revenue and efficiency.
- Partner with content/design teams to develop high-converting landing pages.
- Project manage content distribution to the Nomad website and sponsored content coordination on partner websites.
- Partner with Nomad product, engineering and operations teams to ensure that newly acquired clinicians are high quality and remain engaged with us once onboarded.
- Uncover new opportunities to acquire customers efficiently and eager to test new paid advertising channels.
- Deliver weekly updates and strategic recommendations to the VP, Marketing.
Qualifications/ Skills - What You Will Need
- 4+ years hands-on experience managing paid acquisition campaigns through Google, Bing, Facebook and LinkedIn.
- Basic knowledge of on-page SEO, technical SEO and search engine ranking factors.
- Familiarity with relevant tools (e.g. ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Suite of Products, Unbounce, etc.)
- Familiarity with Hygraph, job boards, Segment, Amplitude, Jira, Looker - a plus but not mandatory.
- Deep understanding of web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Ads, GSC and Webmaster Tools)
- Experience with project management tools such as Asana, Trello or Monday.
- Robust analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with a willingness to continue to grow that skillset

Compensation for this full-time position encompasses both base compensation and variable compensation target of 10% of base compensation. Base compensation is determined as a reflection of your skills, experience, and geographic location. Each geographic location has a benchmarked, specific modifier; below is general guidance on base compensation in key metro areas. Actual compensation may be slightly higher or lower.
- Tier 1: $99,500 - $109,000 (NYC, SF, Seattle)
- Tier 2: $88,500 - $97,000 (Boston, DC, Chicago, San Diego, Los Angeles, Austin)
- Tier 3: $84,500 - $92,500 (All other locations)
