Position Overview:

 Weare seeking a highly skilled Mobile Automation QA Engineer with expertise in Appium and Java to join our dynamic team. As a Mobile Automation QA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for our mobile applications. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of mobile testing methodologies and be adept at utilizing Appium for automation testing.

Roles and Responsibilities:

● Developand implement automated test scripts for mobile applications using Appium and Java.

● Design, execute, and maintain test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of mobile applications across various platforms.

● Collaborate with the development and QA teams to identify and resolve software defects and inconsistencies.

● Conductthorough regression testing to identify and address potential issues before product releases.

● Perform in-depth analysis of test results and provide comprehensive reports to the relevant stakeholders.

● Stayupdated with the latest industry trends and best practices in mobile automation testing.

Must Have Skills:

● 6+yearstotal experience with at least 3+ yrs of automation experience involved in design and development of Test Automation scripts using Appium and Java. Experience with other frameworks like Espresso,Cypress will be an added advantage.

● Strong proficiency in Java programming with a focus on writing efficient, clean, and well-documented code.

● Extensive knowledge of the software development lifecycle and QA methodologies.

● Familiarity with testing Android and iOS applications across multiple devices and platforms.

● Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and communicate complex technical issues.

● Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.

● Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. 

● Prior experience in creating and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks is a plus.

● Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Good to Have Skills:

● Handsonwith any IDE e.g. VSCode.

● Goodunderstanding of Agile methodology.

● Exposure to CI/CD/DevOps practices would be an added advantage
