Ruby on Rails- Mid level

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing new or changing existing web applications/APIs.
• Maintaining and troubleshooting web applications and APIs.
• Writing and maintaining reliable Ruby / Rails code.
• Integrating with data storage solutions such as database, file storage or object storage.
• Creating services using microservices architecture.
• Dockerize the application / service
• Identifying and fixing bottlenecks and bugs.
• Integrating user-facing elements designed by the front-end team.
• Connecting applications with other internal or third party systems.

Must Have Skills: 

• Overall 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• 1.5+ yr experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Experience writing test cases using Rspecs
• Good understanding of front-end technologies and frameworks, such as ReactJS
• Solid experience with web services.
• Understanding of JavaScript dependency management and build tools.
• Experience with MongoDB, Postgresql, MySQL database.
• Comfortable in a work environment that requires strong problem-solving skills and independent self-direction coupled with team collaboration and open communication
• Understanding of RESTful web services
• Work in a fast-paced, creative atmosphere to develop new ideas that adapt to evolving user needs
• Experience using Git / GitHub.
• Experience with AWS services. 
• Willing to work in Night shift - 7.30pm-4.30pm

Good To Have: 

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform for managing cloud infrastructure.

Education: BE/BTech/MCA/ME/MTech/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
