Location: Fully remote, with a preference for candidates within commuting distance to NFF’s New York, Philadelphia, or Boston offices. Fully remote locations, including Los Angeles and Oakland, will also be considered.

About the Opportunity: 

We are seeking a Manager, Enterprise Solutions & Analytics to join our Operations & IT team. The Operations & IT team plays an integral role within NFF providing over 100 NFF employees with the analytical and operational support they need to effectively serve our clients and their communities 

The Manager, Enterprise Solutions & Analytics is responsible for leading the stewardship of data and systems that integrate with NFF’s Single Source of Truth (SSOT), ensuring that stakeholders have continuous access to accurate information, processes, and tools that support the organization’s strategy and mission. NFF’s Salesforce environment is the primary tool for SSOT, supplemented by third-party systems like PowerBI, which are essential for client delivery, impact measurement tracking, and adherence to CDFI compliance.  

This role requires an experienced project manager with strong interpersonal skills to gather requirements, align stakeholders, and develop critical business solutions for NFF’s departments. These solutions should be based on data-driven decision-making while addressing day-to-day stakeholder needs. This is an exciting opportunity for a systems and process builder who can help create efficiency to support NFF with delivering new and ongoing services, aligning departmental and organizational goals, and ensuring an exceptional user experience.  

The position can be based remotely, with a preference for candidates near our New York, Philadelphia, or Boston offices. Occasional travel may be required for local/national conferences, all-staff meetings and department retreats. 

The Manager, Enterprise Solutions & Analytics will report to the Director, Enterprise Solutions & Analytics who is based in New York.

 

What you’ll do:

Project and Systems Management 

  • Independently manage the goals for Salesforce scalability, automation, implementations, and integrations, aligning with organizational and departmental planning tools. 
  • Address and resolve user issues and requests related to Salesforce and other third-party applications within NFF’s case management system, ensuring seamless user experiences. 
  • Maintain all system customizations, including custom code, and regularly audit automated processes. Promptly resolve any errors that arise to ensure system integrity.  
  • Leverage industry best practices and deep Salesforce expertise to design scalable solutions that align with organizational goals and objectives.  
  • Develop and manage integrations between Salesforce and third-party applications, using native integrations, APIs, and custom solutions where applicable. 
  • Assess requests for new software or solutions and evaluate acquisitions based on their fit within NFF’s current tech stack and business needs; work closely with internal departments to gather and analyze business and functional needs.  
  • Lead the design, implementation, and deployment of technological solutions with minimal supervision. 
  • Manage the full lifecycle of technical projects, from planning and task delegation to milestone tracking and delivery, ensuring solutions meet both organizational objectives and stakeholder expectations. 
  • Proactively identify and implement enhancements to existing systems and processes, driving operational efficiency and improving data management and services. 
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors, managing invoicing and budgeting in conjunction with the Director, Enterprise Solutions & Analytics, and the VP of Operations & IT. 
  • Contribute to data management, impact reporting, and analytics by supporting data collection, compilation, and analysis. 
  • Partner with IT and Cybersecurity leadership to assess, approve, and implement new software rollouts, ensuring alignment with security protocols and organizational needs. 

Data and Compliance 

  • Manage regular data backups, sandbox environment seeding, and application deployments to safeguard data and ensure its security. 
  • Oversee data synchronization processes, troubleshoot integration issues, and ensure the smooth operation of data flows across systems. 
  • Collaborate with the Compliance and Analytics team to maintain data integrity and ensure that systems are compliant with CDFI and governmental regulations. 

Leadership and Training

  • Provide clear direction for Salesforce and systems management, while identifying opportunities for staff training and process improvements. 
  • Cultivate a collaborative, innovative environment within the Operations & IT team, and engage key stakeholders through internal project groups. 
  • Identify future growth opportunities for technical staff and support ongoing training initiatives to improve organizational readiness for system changes. 
  • Assist in organizational change management by developing and delivering comprehensive system training and documentation. 

 

Who you are: 

  • You have a minimum of five years of professional work experience preferably in the nonprofit or CDFI industry and have at least 3 years of Salesforce administrator-level experience 
  • You have proven experience and knowledge of technology and system solutions in environments like financial services lending, grants management, project management, and/or CDFI. 
  • You have experience in developing and managing third-party integrations, AppExchange applications, and APIs; experience in complying with enterprise security standards, including development, documentation, and implementation at an enterprise level. 
  • You possess strong project management skills with demonstrated success managing multiple projects  
  • You are comfortable working independently, within a highly collaborative team, and across an organization with multiple departments and varying communications needs    
  • You have strong communication skills and can explain technical information to non-technical stakeholders in an accessible manner 
  • You are flexible, adaptable, and open to learning new systems to meet the organization’s needs 
  • You are committed to continuous improvement and demonstrate a growth mindset 
  • You are proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, FormAssembly, Power BI), visualization tools (Visio, Lucidchart), Salesforce, and loan servicing software.

Compensation:

At NFF, we are invested in discussing the depth and breadth of each candidate’s background and experience during the interview process and using that information to determine the best offer while considering internal pay equity. The salary range for this position is $94,000-$110,000. If provided an offer, NFF will determine salary compensation based on relevant skills and years of experience. NFF also takes into consideration internal equity in setting salary bands for each role. NFF provides an attractive benefits package that currently includes up to 18 paid holidays, 3 floating holidays, unlimited vacation time off, health insurance with NFF funded health reimbursement account on medical plan, and employer contributions toward retirement plan. In addition, NFF provides flexibility to work remotely and access to a “work from home” fund, and flexible spending accounts including medical, commuter, and childcare benefits.
