Noonlight is looking for a highly skilled and versatile Director of Operations to lead and scale both our monitoring operations and broader business operations. This critical role combines strategic leadership, operational expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure our internal processes and external partnerships drive excellence and enable growth.

As the Director of Operations, you will oversee key relationships with third-party monitoring providers, ensuring their performance aligns with Noonlight’s high standards, while also leading initiatives to improve efficiency, scalability, and innovation across the organization. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced operator with a passion for optimizing processes, building strong partnerships, and contributing to the growth and success of a fast-paced, high-impact organization.

Key Responsibilities

Monitoring Operations

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party monitoring providers, ensuring their operational performance meets Noonlight’s quality standards
  • Develop and implement performance metrics, audits, and evaluation processes to uphold exceptional service delivery
  • Lead regular reviews and continuous improvement initiatives with Central Station partners, ensuring they are equipped with the tools, training, and resources to succeed
  • Scale monitoring operations to support rapid business growth, including regional expansions and capacity planning
  • Oversee partner onboarding, including training, testing, and ongoing enablement to ensure seamless integration and performance

Business Operations

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and drive organizational scalability
  • Collaborate with leadership to define and execute strategic priorities, ensuring alignment with Noonlight’s long-term goals
  • Oversee operational planning, resource allocation, and process optimization to enable sustainable growth
  • Develop and track operational KPIs, analyze performance data, and provide actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making

Strategic Partnerships & Industry Relations

  • Serve as a key point of contact for strategic partners, fostering collaborative relationships and ensuring mutual success
  • Act as a liaison with law enforcement and public safety agencies, promoting Noonlight’s technology and advocating for its adoption

Product & Innovation Collaboration

  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Sales teams to design and launch initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, platform quality, and profitability
  • Leverage data and platform insights to optimize workflows, staffing, and service delivery

Cost Management & Resource Optimization

  • Manage operational budgets, balancing cost efficiency with high service quality
  • Identify and implement strategies to maximize resource utilization, including technology-driven process automation and workflow improvements
  • Other duties assigned

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of experience in operations management, business operations, or a similar role, ideally in a high-growth or technology-driven environment
  • Proven experience building and leading high-performing teams and managing external partnerships
  • Strong expertise in optimizing operational processes, capacity planning, and resource management
  • Ability to define, track, and analyze key operational KPIs to drive data-informed decisions
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Sales teams
  • Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities, including with external vendors and public safety stakeholders
  • A proactive and adaptable approach, with a track record of driving results in fast-paced environments
