Salary Range:$110,000.00 To $130,000.00 Annually

The European Sales Manager plays a pivotal role alongside the International Sales Director in spearheading the expansion of the Nordic Naturals brand across the dynamic European markets. This career opportunity is ideally suited for a seasoned sales manager with an intimate understanding of the intricate European retail terrain, coupled with a track record of successfully promoting and selling Nutraceutical products. In this role, you will be at the forefront of driving market penetration, forging key partnerships, and championing the brand's growth throughout the diverse and evolving European region. Your expertise will be instrumental in establishing and nurturing valuable relationships, ensuring the brand's prominence, and contributing to our mission of global health and well-being.

Location Statement: 

The European Sales Manager will be based in the USA. This role is fully remote, with an anticipated travel commitment of 25-30%.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop annual strategy plans with the focus on growing our distribution channels in Europe. 

  • Work with region distributor partners, defining clear trade channel strategies and below the line plans.

  • Explore possibilities for entries into new markets in which Nordic Naturals does not currently have a foothold.

  • Monitor market conditions, competitive activities and product innovations, prices, and market sales, providing feedback to the international team.

  • Experience managing multi country FDM retailers. 

  • Collaborate with International Business Sales Director, and International Category Manager to prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts and create annual business plan, marketing budget and approve expenditures related to Nordic Naturals business in Europe.

  • Work with the Business Development Manager to identify regulatory specific challenges and develop solutions to overcome the obstacles. 

  • Regularly communicate and collaborate with international team and internal Nordic Naturals teams including operations, finance, marketing, and sales teams.

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals for the European markets.

  • Perform research and identify new potential distributors and new market opportunities where applicable.

  • Negotiate and close agreements and contracts. 

  • Manage shipping and logistics of products in collaboration with international team members.

  • Represent company at trade association meetings to promote brand and products.

  • Supports the international team to ensure effective communication and team building.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Key Contributions:

  • Drive retail buyer/customer engagement by providing deep insights of our brand benefits. 

  • Help develop brand access strategies and tactics for the retail landscape. 

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and a minimum of 5 years of sales management experience within the natural supplement industry in the Europe region required.

  • Proven track record of success in selling to key European retailers.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to set and achieve ambitious sales goals.

  • Ability to work independently and remotely.
