
Field Merchandiser
Salary: 60k to 80k/Bonus

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Field Merchandiser will play an integral role visiting accounts throughout designated territory to support our brick-and-mortar retailers. They will build relationships with staff members and assist them with ordering,merchandising, couponing, display and demo execution. This role requires a passion to be out in the field connecting with loyal customers and collaborating with the Sr. Field Sales Manager to ensure that we are providing customers with the tools and support to drive their Nordic Naturals business forward.

● Implements and maintains routing schedule for consistent face-to-face store visits in the NorCal market
● Passion for connecting and building relationships, providing a suburb customer service experience
● Strong collaboration with Sr. Field Sales Manager on a regular basis to understand key priorities, initiatives and opportunities in the market
● Comfortable providing customer demos and mini education sessions
● Ability to learn and become extremely well-versed on the Nordic Naturals story and product portfolio
● Assist stores with merchandising improvements, end cap creation, couponing, orders and other directives as needed
● Complete any required routing paperwork, expenses, reporting and assigned projects by designated deadline

Specific Responsibilities:
● Create an effective and efficient routing schedule, consistently analyzed to maintain a strong cadence of account visits, focusing on top revenue generating accounts
● Ensure products are properly merchandised and displays are consistent with brand standards, assisting with end cap or off shelf creation when necessary
● Weekly one-on-ones with Sr. Field Sales Manager with open feedback, communication and collaboration
● Work towards becoming an expert on Nordic Naturals product offerings and become comfortable providing mini educational updates and trainings to retailers
● Implement a demo program across targeted top accounts on a monthly basis
● Execute ongoing specific retail strategies as directed by manager and utilize sales tools and collateral to help drive sales in assigned territory
● Work with Sr. Field Sales Manager to review all expenses to ensure that budget is met for travel and any additional incurred expenses
● Provide market intel and stores pictures on a weekly basis
● Provide support during key consumer events at top retailers as needed
● Other duties as assigned

Computer Skills:

● 2+ years in the Natural Product Industry or Retail/Brick-and-Mortar experience
● Weekend work required on occasion
● This is a remote position with the ability to travel up to 80% of the time. San Jose, CA preferred home base location
