POSITION SUMMARY

 

As our Sr. Talent Acquisition Partner, you will deliver full lifecycle recruiting to attract top talent for Nordic Naturals. You will be a consultative partner with hiring managers to understand their talent needs and create a recruitment strategy for each position in order to maximize our efforts in finding the ideal candidates. You will manage the recruitment process, including posting, sourcing and interviewing and make strategic suggestions when needed. You will also partner with external recruiters when we find the need for additional sourcing support.

Essential Function Statement(s)

  • Partner with hiring managers through the intake meeting, job description review, job posting and recruitment process using data-driven insights to optimize hiring metrics.
  • Source, screen and prepare candidates for interviews with hiring managers and enhance the hiring manager experience.
  • Ensure positive candidate and hiring manager experiences from the initial application to on-boarding. 
  • Advise and educate appropriate Nordic teams on hiring processes and policies including sourcing techniques.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand talent needs and develop recruitment strategies for identifying and recruiting top candidates. 
  • Evaluate applications, review resumes, complete initial phone interviews and conduct reference.
  • Make recommendations to hiring managers on the top candidates for in-person or virtual interviews.
  • Partner with external recruiters for additional sourcing support for specialized or leadership positions.
  • Ensure the candidate pool is maintained and appropriate communication to each candidate is delivered in a timely, professional manner.
  • Assist hiring managers with scheduling phone, in-person or virtual interviews and candidate travel/lodging preparations, if needed.
  • Identify key performance indicators, develop sourcing pools and establish best practice interviewing agenda’s and criteria. 
  • Proactively create applicant pools and talent pipelines by posting job ads through appropriate job boards, social media, state employment agencies, professional associations, academic associations and employee referral programs. 
  • Maintain awareness and make recommendations of best practice competitor practices, industry trends and recruitment standards.

Computer/Systems Skills:

  • Proficient with MS Office and Google Workplace. 
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems. 
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now applicant tracking system is a plus.
  • Experience with Social Media employment posting sites. 

 

Certifications & Licenses: N/A

 

Other Requirements:       

  • 6+ years of experience in full cycle recruitment.
  • Bachelors Degree preferred.
  • Full life cycle recruitment process experience, including specialized and high-level positions is required.
  • Advanced experience in effectively sourcing candidates through various online sourcing platforms and creative techniques.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and human resource information systems (HRIS). 
  • Familiarity with Office applications, such as Word and Excel, as well as popular social media recruitment platforms (such as LinkedIn) are a must.
  • Knowledge of California state employment laws.
  • Positive attitude and a passion for creating a great experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
  • Strong work ethic and organizational skills.
  • Ability to engage with candidates both by phone, virtually and in person.
  • Knowledge of employment guidelines/practices and an excellent sense of judgment without bias.
  • Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required.
  • Self-motivated with outstanding time management and organizational skills to prioritize multiple job openings and manage time appropriately.
  • Ability to be flexible, adaptable and positively contribute in a fast-paced, changing work environment.
  • Knowledge of relocation agreements, contracts, such as non-disclosure agreements, and service level agreements is helpful.
