POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to a Brand Manager, the Associate Brand Manager helps shape the future growth of the Nordic Naturals portfolio through consumer-driven innovation, portfolio strategy, and integrated brand marketing. This role is ideal for a marketer who enjoys solving complex business challenges, translating consumer insights into new products, and collaborating across functions to bring innovations to market. The Associate Brand Manager will play a meaningful role in growing one of the most trusted brands in the natural products industry.

Essential Function Statements

Portfolio Strategy

  • Help develop and execute portfolio growth strategies aligned with company objectives and brand priorities.
  • Analyze business performance using syndicated data, retailer insights, consumer research, and internal sales data to identify opportunities and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Recommend portfolio optimization opportunities, including SKU rationalization, pricing strategy, packaging updates, and product lifecycle management.

Innovation & Commercialization

  • Develop new product concepts from ideation through commercialization using Nordic Naturals' stage-gate innovation process.
  • Lead cross-functional commercialization activities, including packaging development, positioning, claims, launch planning, and go-to-market execution.
  • Drive renovation initiatives, including product reformulations, packaging enhancements, retailer exclusives, and line extensions.
  • Identify consumer insights, market trends, and whitespace opportunities to inform innovation and long-term portfolio growth.

Brand Marketing

  • Partner with Brand Managers and agency partners to develop integrated marketing campaigns, creative assets, and media plans.
  • Contribute to annual brand plans, promotional calendars, and retailer marketing programs.
  • Develop product positioning, messaging, launch materials, and sales support tools across digital, retail, practitioner, and eCommerce channels.
  • Ensure all marketing initiatives reinforce Nordic Naturals' premium brand positioning and scientific credibility.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by adapting to evolving business priorities and contributing wherever needed to achieve team objectives.

 

This role offers broad exposure to portfolio strategy, innovation, commercialization, and integrated marketing, providing a strong foundation for future brand leadership opportunities.

Other Requirements:      

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field required; MBA preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in Brand Management, Product Management, Product Marketing, or Category Management; dietary supplement or CPG experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills; experience with syndicated market data (e.g., SPINS, Circana, Nielsen) preferred.
  • Experience supporting new product innovation and stage-gate commercialization processes.
  • Strong creative judgment and experience supporting integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and keep projects on track.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate recommendations, decisions, and business tradeoffs clearly to cross-functional partners and leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment, embraces ambiguity, and builds structure where needed.
