Position Summary
Nordic Naturals is the premium leader in the Omega-3 supplement category, committed to delivering the world’s safest, most effective nutrients essential to health. The Sr. Manager, Consumer Insights will play a critical role in building and operationalizing a world- class, consumer-centric insights function. Reporting directly to the Director of Innovation & Insights, this individual will lead the execution of qualitative and quantitative research, trend analysis, and consumer tracking to uncover actionable growth opportunities across our business and portfolio. The ideal candidate is a expert of research methodologies, possessing the unique ability to turn complex data and cultural signals into compelling, visual narratives that shape brand positioning, white-space mapping, and our 3-year product innovation pipeline.

Research Execution & Insights Leadership
 Own and manage the end-to-end execution of a robust insights ecosystem, including qualitative and quantitative research, syndicated data, social listening, Usage & Attitudes studies, and consumer segmentation.
 Act as the day-to-day & voice of the consumer & continuously tracking wellness behaviors, occasion-based triggers, and unmet needs.
 Translate raw data and research findings into actionable business strategies, brand positioning refinements, and highly compelling innovation concepts.
 Manage external insight agencies, research vendors, and platform relationships, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high strategic standard. Innovation & Pipeline Support
 Collaborate with the Director to identify white-space opportunities across categories, formats, benefits, life stages, and channels.
 Support the cross-functional innovation steering process and ideation workshops by providing foundational consumer data and foundational guardrails.
 Partner closely with Brand Marketing, Product Development/R&D, Sales, E-Commerce, and Operations to advance new product concepts through the development funnel.

Testing, Learning & Optimization

 Design, execute, and analyze concept tests, pricing studies, volumetric forecasting, and market research to validate product-market fit.
 Partner with Retail, Performance Marketing, and E-Commerce teams to develop in- market pilot testing and rapid A/B learning frameworks.
 Lead post-launch learning loops by synthesizing consumer feedback and reviews to continuously optimize offerings and inform future pipeline decisions.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Influence
 Serve as a strategic insights partner to the Omni-channel teams (DTC, Amazon, Retail, Pro, and International) to ensure consumer data shapes marketing messaging and market expansion.
 Synthesize complex insights into visual, digestible, and highly impactful presentations for stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
 Help foster a culture of consumer-centricity across all internal departments.

 

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
 Experience: 10–15 years of progressive experience in Consumer Insights, Market Research, or Brand Strategy, specifically within the CPG, wellness, food & beverage, or dietary supplement categories.
 Methodology Expertise: Deep expertise in managing a wide array of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies (e.g., focus groups, ethnographies, survey design, conjoint analysis, and data syndication tools like IRI/Nielsen/SPINS).
 Channel Familiarity: Strong understanding of navigating consumer journeys across multiple retail landscapes, specifically Omni-channel environments (Amazon, DTC, Traditional Retail, and Professional channels).
 Skills: Exceptional analytical and storytelling skills; proven ability to blend creative thinking with data-driven commercial rigor.
 Collaboration: Proven track record of successfully partnering with and influencing cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Sales) without direct authority.
 Education: Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced degree in Marketing, Psychology, Behavioral Science, Business Analytics, or an MBA is highly preferred.
