About the project 

As an AJO / ACO Tester, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution, quality, and reliability of our omnichannel marketing campaigns and customer journey orchestrations. You will be responsible for meticulously validating end-to-end user journeys, data ingestion, real-time segmentations, and automated triggers within Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) and Adobe Campaign Orchestration (ACO).  

What you’ll do 

• Read solution designs, journey maps, campaign briefs, and data specs; translate them into clear, traceable test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria. 

• Design test scenarios that exercise the full surface area of an AJO journey or ACO campaign: entry conditions, segment qualification, branching logic, wait steps, channel sends, suppression, and exit criteria. 

• Execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests against AJO journeys, ACO workflows, AEP datasets, and channel configurations. 

• Validate XDM schemas, identity stitching, profile fragments, and segment membership using AEP UI, Query Service, and APIs. 

• Run rendering tests across major email clients and devices using tools such as Litmus or Email on Acid; verify dynamic content, personalization, and fallback behavior. 

• Validate push, SMS, in-app, and code-based experiences end-to-end — from trigger event through delivery and tracking. 

• Reproduce, document, and triage defects with the level of detail a developer can act on immediately: inputs, expected vs. actual, screenshots, payloads, and logs. 

• Sign off on releases with a clear, defensible quality statement: what was tested, what was not, what risks remain. 

• Build and maintain automated checks for stable, high-value scenarios: API contract tests, schema validation, payload comparisons, and regression of core journey paths. 

• Work day-to-day with AJO / ACO Developers, solution architects, project managers, data engineers, and client marketing operations teams in an embedded or hybrid model. 

What makes you a great fit 🎯 

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ Years of experience working in software or marketing-platform QA.
• 1+ Years of experience working with Adobe Journey Optimizer, Adobe Campaign Classic, or Adobe Campaign Standard implementations.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Experience Platform: XDM schemas, datasets, identities, Real-Time Customer Profile, segmentation, and source/destination connectors.
• Strong test design skills: equivalence partitioning, boundary analysis, scenario design, and risk-based prioritization applied to data- and event-driven systems.
• Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs and JSON.
• Comfortable using Postman or equivalent to exercise AJO/ACO and AEP endpoints.
• Working scripting ability in JavaScript, Python, or similar.
• Solid knowledge of email, push, SMS, and in-app channel mechanics: rendering, deliverability fundamentals, tracking, and personalization.
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows, ticketing systems (Jira), and modern release practices for marketing-platform deployments.
• Advanced English Level is required for this role, as you will work with US clients. Effective communication in English is essential to deliver the best solutions to our clients and expand your horizons.
