About the project  

As a BI Platform Engineer, you will support our Data Engineering team by managing and optimizing our Business Intelligence ecosystem, with a strong focus on Tableau Server administration and dashboard development. You will help ensure that our data platforms are reliable, scalable, and user-friendly, enabling internal teams to efficiently access insights and make data-driven decisions. In addition you will contribute to broader BI tooling and AWS-based infrastructure, bridging the gap between data engineering and analytics by improving platform performance, troubleshooting issues, and enhancing overall developer and analyst experience.  

What you’ll do 

• Administer and maintain Tableau Server, ensuring performance, scalability, and high availability. 

• Design, develop, and optimize Tableau dashboards to meet business and analytical needs. 

• Support additional BI tools such as Power BI and AWS QuickSight. 

• Manage and troubleshoot data connectivity using ODBC/JDBC across multiple data sources. 

• Work with AWS infrastructure (EC2, EFS, RDS, ALB, VPC) to support BI and data platform operations. 

• Diagnose and resolve infrastructure and performance issues across BI and data environments. 

• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure efficient data access and usability. 

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) for BI and data-related workflows. 

• Implement and monitor system health using tools like Grafana. 

• Support continuous improvements in platform reliability, performance, and developer experience.  

What makes you a great fit 🎯 

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 

• Strong hands-on experience with Tableau Server administration and dashboard creation. 

• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI and/or AWS QuickSight. 

• Solid understanding of data connectivity protocols (ODBC/JDBC). 

• Practical experience with AWS services (EC2, EFS, RDS, ALB, VPC) and infrastructure troubleshooting. 

• Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD pipelines and version control workflows. 

• Experience using monitoring tools such as Grafana. 

• Ability to work independently, troubleshoot issues, and deliver solutions with minimal supervision. 

• Advanced English Level is required for this role, as you will work with US clients. Effective communication in English is essential to deliver the best solutions to our clients and expand your horizons.
