About the project 

As a Senior Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable cloud data architectures using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery. You will define data architecture strategies, develop robust data models and integration patterns, and ensure data solutions are secure, governed, high-performing, and cost-efficient. You will also collaborate closely with engineering teams and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable and reliable data solutions.

What you’ll do 

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud data architectures using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Architect and optimize BigQuery-based data solutions, ensuring performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Define and implement data models, data pipelines, and integration patterns to support analytical and business requirements.
• Design and oversee ETL/ELT processes for ingesting, transforming, and integrating data from multiple sources.
• Establish and maintain data architecture standards, best practices, and design principles across data platforms.
• Implement and promote data governance, security, access control, data quality, and compliance best practices.
• Monitor and optimize BigQuery queries, storage strategies, partitioning, clustering, and overall cloud costs.

What makes you a great fit 🎯

• 5+ years of experience in BI, Analytics, or Data Engineering.
• Strong experience as a Data Architect.
• Advanced expertise in GCP and BigQuery.
• Experience designing cloud data architectures, data models, and pipelines.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT, data integration, governance, and security.
• Ability to optimize BigQuery performance and costs.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
