About the project
As we continue to grow, we are looking to add a Senior BI Consultant to our team. If you are passionate about turning complex data into clear, actionable insights and thrive on owning a BI solution end-to-end, this is a great opportunity for you.
This role sits within our Business Intelligence & Analytics practice and owns the technical and consultative quality bar from requirements gathering through delivery. You will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and technical teams, combining strong hands-on skills in Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and SQL with a solid understanding of business requirements and performance management.
This is a role where technical depth, business understanding, and ownership across the entire BI lifecycle are equally important.
What you'll do
- Design and implement end-to-end Business Intelligence solutions based on business and analytical requirements.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand objectives, KPIs, processes, and reporting needs.
- Translate business requirements into effective data models, analytical solutions, and visualizations.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, semantic models, and DAX measures.
- Design and implement scalable data models using dimensional modeling and best practices.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and data transformation processes.
- Design and implement ETL/ELT processes for integrating data from multiple sources.
- Work with Microsoft Fabric components such as Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, pipelines, notebooks, and semantic models.
- Contribute to modern Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) implementations.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, performance, security, and scalability across BI solutions.
- Analyze existing BI solutions and identify opportunities for optimization and modernization.
- Define and implement KPIs, metrics, balanced scorecards, and management reporting solutions.
- Troubleshoot data, reporting, and performance issues across the BI stack.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, Solution Architects, Developers, and business teams.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced BI professionals.
What makes you a great fit
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related
- 7+ years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Warehousing, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including advanced DAX and semantic models.
- Strong SQL skills, including query optimization and complex data transformations.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, dimensional modeling, star schemas, facts, dimensions, and slowly changing dimensions.
- Experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT processes.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric or equivalent modern data platforms.
- Experience with data warehouse and/or lakehouse architectures, and understanding of Medallion Architecture.
- Experience integrating data from multiple sources such as relational databases, APIs, files, ERP, CRM, or cloud platforms.
- Strong understanding of BI architecture and the complete data-to-insight lifecycle.
- Experience gathering and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Advanced English Level is required for this role, as you will work with US clients.
Effective communication in English is essential to deliver the best solutions to our clients and expand your horizons
