Go-To-Market (GTM) Engineer
About Northbeam
Northbeam is building the world’s most advanced marketing intelligence platform, providing top eCommerce brands a unified view of their business data through powerful attribution modeling and customizable dashboards. Our technology helps customers accurately track ad spend, understand the full customer journey, and drive profitable growth.
We’re a remote-friendly company with offices in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
About the Role
- Northbeam is looking for a GTM Engineer who thrives at the intersection of engineering, marketing, and speed. You’re a rapid builder who prototypes and ships before most teams finish their briefs—someone who sees every channel, system, and workflow as an opportunity for optimization or scale.
- In this role, you’ll be embedded within the growth team, partnering Product, Marketing, Sales, and RevOps—building and maintaining the systems, tools, and automations that power our customer acquisition, conversion, and retention strategies. But unlike traditional roles, your toolkit will include AI agents, Python notebooks, internal APIs, Zapier workflows, GPTs, and whatever gets the job done—fast. You’ll leverage LLMs and no-/low-code tools to launch scrappy, high-impact experiments that unlock new growth channels, improve conversion and retention, and automate core business processes.
- This is a high-autonomy, high-leverage role for someone who thinks in distribution, operates with urgency, and builds with an eye for scalable leverage.
Your Impact
- Rapidly build and launch internal tools, workflows, and AI-powered systems to accelerate GTM execution.
- Develop and automate infrastructure for marketing operations, sales processes, and creative experimentation.
- Integrate APIs, webhooks, and LLMs to create scalable, intelligent growth systems.
- Collaborate with paid media, lifecycle, and product growth teams to inject engineering into high-impact experiments.
- Streamline marketing workflows—from campaign QA and performance reporting to lead enrichment—through automation.
- Continuously identify and implement ways to optimize and automate cross-channel campaigns and customer interactions.
What You Bring
- 6+ years of experience
- You think like a growth operator but build like a scrappy engineer. Move like a hacker. You know what drives outcomes and how to build just enough to prove value.
- You’ve shipped workflows, prototypes, or growth tools using GPTs, Zapier, Retool, or custom Python scripts.
- You’ve worked with CRM and sales enablement tools.
- You default to experimentation, measure impact relentlessly, and move fast.
- You understand how acquisition, retention, and monetization work—and you optimize for them.
- Communicate clearly, operate with ownership, and don’t wait to be told what to do.
- You’re comfortable with ambiguity and thrive in fast-moving environments.
Bonus Skills & Experience
- Prior experience working in a B2B SaaS or fintech growth team.
- Familiarity with GTM systems like HubSpot, Retool, Amplitude, etc.
- Comfort working with structured and unstructured data—cleaning, transforming, and piping it into useful workflows.
