
Transaction Manager - Commercial Real Estate
Northmarq is currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of an Commercial Investment Sales Transaction Manager in our Portland office, supporting our National Restaurant Group. The Transaction Manager will work directly with our Commercial Investment Sales senior team members and play a key role in the team’s day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will possess hyper-organizational skills as well as the ability to exercise independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload in a fast-paced environment. The role is a client-facing opportunity; therefore, customer service experience is preferred, and a high level of professionalism is imperative and expected.
*This position is an in-office position, with an immediate start date.
Position Responsibilities:
- Client Management: Proactively engage with clients and internal teams, ensuring timely updates on transaction progress.
- Deal Management: Utilize Salesforce to establish and monitor deals, meticulously maintaining accurate records. Collaborate with the team to enhance Salesforce functionality for optimal transaction management.
- Transaction Coordination: Oversee the entire transaction process from Letter of Intent (LOI) to Closing. Ensure timely completion of all required documentation and provide assistance to team members with property-related due diligence, escrow management, transaction timelines, and both internal and external deal processing.
- 3rd Party Coordination: Assist team members in arranging site visits and on-site tours for prospective buyers, and third-party inspections, etc. During the closing process, collaborate and coordinate with lenders, tax professionals, legal and other stakeholders.
- Research: Support National Restaurant Group brokers by researching franchisee information and assist with building out their proprietary national database of contacts.
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, or a related field preferred
- 2–3 years of experience in title or escrow management, office administration or a similar real estate professional support role; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Salesforce experience is a strong asset
- Prior experience in the commercial real estate industry is highly desirable
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills; experience with project coordination or project management is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, while also thriving in a collaborative team environment
- High level of discretion, sound judgment, and the ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism
