Northmarq is looking for an individual to join its Operations Department as a Transaction Processing Specialist I. This is an opportunity for a deadline driven, organized, and detail-minded individual who would be responsible for providing operational support to Servicing through accurate transaction processing and cash application.

Responsibilities:
Receive incoming Servicing funds.
- Research and process checks received.
- Process incoming ACH funds.
- Research and process incoming wire funds.
- Post Service Fees received for non-cash loans.
Transaction processing for internal clients, ensuring accuracy of postings.
- Meet daily deadlines for approving and posting transactions in our Servicing System.
- Research transactions and Queries to verify information and accuracy before posting.
- Follow up with internal Team Members to address requests and questions.
- Monitor and address emails from a group email inbox.
Complete additional projects as assigned while providing premier customer service to all customers.
- Plan and schedule own workload to meet deadlines.
- Perform other reasonable tasks/projects as assigned by management, per evolving business needs.
- Oversee ACH Setups, Cancellations, & Updates.
- Oversee Monthly Bank Bundles.
What We're Looking For:
- Two year degree, preferably a four year degree or related experience
- At least 1 year customer service experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Excel and Word.
- Able to quickly learn new software and systems, able to provide support to internal and external clients.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong math/numbers skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure; plan, set and adhere to time constraints.
- Problem-solving skills to reflect level of responsibilities.
- Ability to work independently most of the time and collaboratively as needed.
- Ability to create and maintain applicable procedural documentation.
- Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information.

Minnesota Residents: Northmarq carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The salary range for the Transaction Processing Specialist position is $55,000.00 annually or [$26.44 per hour] to $65,000.00 annually [or $31.25 per hour]. This range is a good faith estimate and the actual compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
