We’re seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Project Manager to lead the coordination and delivery of digital marketing initiatives across our organization. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Digital Marketing, this role is pivotal in ensuring that digital marketing campaigns, initiatives, and cross-functional digital projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget.

You’ll serve as the central point of accountability for project delivery, working closely with internal teams, external vendors, and leadership stakeholders.

Position Responsibilities:

Project Leadership & Execution

  • Lead end-to-end project management for digital marketing initiatives, from intake through delivery.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and success metrics.
  • Monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure timely execution across multiple concurrent projects.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with internal teams (brand, content, communications, design, development, analytics) and external partners.
  • Facilitate effective communication and handoffs between departments and workstreams.
  • Ensure alignment across marketing, sales operations, product, and technology teams.

Budget & Resource Management

  • Create and manage project budgets, ensuring financial accountability and ROI tracking.
  • Allocate resources effectively and monitor utilization across projects.
  • Identify and mitigate potential overages or scope creep.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as a liaison for internal stakeholders and their projects.
  • Provide clear, consistent updates on project status, risks, and milestones.
  • Escalate blockers proactively and recommend actionable solutions.

Workflow & Process Optimization

  • Own and manage the Asana Digital Intake Board for the digital marketing workstream, ensuring requests are properly scoped and prioritized.
  • Route requests to appropriate platforms (Asana for marketing, Jira for development).
  • Partner with the Scrum Master and Product Owner on cross-functional initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement in workflows, documentation, and delivery processes.

Performance & Reporting

  • Track and report on KPIs such as campaign performance, delivery timelines, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and dashboards.

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years of project management experience, ideally in digital marketing or a cross-functional marketing environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven success managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels (SEO, PPC, email, social media, content).
  • Proficiency in project management tools (Asana, Jira, Trello, Smartsheet, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and hybrid project management methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and drive clarity across teams.
  • PMP, CSM, or other relevant certifications are a plus.

Minnesota Residents: Northmarq carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The salary range for the Project Manager, Digitial Marketing position is $90,000.00 to $115,000.00 annually. This range is a good faith estimate and the actual compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
