Northmarq is looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Specialist to help execute key digital strategies that drive visibility, engagement, and conversions across our brand. This role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless, engaging, and compliant digital experience that aligns with our brand and supports business objectives.

The ideal candidate is a data-driven marketer who combines analytical thinking with creative execution and has a solid understanding of both the technical and strategic sides of digital marketing.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Website Content & Optimization: Manage and enhance website content to ensure relevance, brand consistency, and alignment with SEO best practices. Collaborate with brand, content and development teams to improve user experience, navigation, and launch high-performing landing pages. Manage daily website updates, content uploads, and monitor site performance to ensure optimal functionality.
  • SEO Strategy & Execution: Conduct keyword research, optimize on-page and off-page content, implement technical SEO improvements, and resolve site errors. Monitor mobile responsiveness, site structure, and ensure accessibility. Collaborate with SEO partners to implement strategies that drive organic traffic and improve search rankings.
  • Cross-Channel Collaboration: Partner with social media, email, content, brand, and product teams to align strategies and optimize core user journeys across channels. Provide SEO insights for paid and organic campaigns, support promotions, and coordinate content for maximum reach and engagement.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Analyze website and campaign performance using GA4, Search Console, Hotjar, and other tools. Use data-driven insights to identify opportunities to increase traffic, engagement, and conversions. Manage backend attribution with Google Tag Manager and maintain data integrity across the site.
  • Continuous Improvement & Support: Stay updated with digital marketing trends and best practices. Execute A/B testing and behavioral analysis to reduce friction and improve user experience. Manage website requests, execute cross-functional initiatives, and perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on website strategy, UX, or content management. Experience in a corporate and B2B environment preferred.
  • Expertise with Drupal (Acquia or similar CMS platform), Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and SEO tools such as Conductor, BrightEdge, SEMrush, or Moz.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing digital user journey flows that support strategic objectives, personas, improve site usability, and drive meaningful engagement across web platforms.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to build dashboards and reports, interpret data, and translate insights into actionable website improvements.
  • Working knowledge of compliance standards, including cookie policies, tagging, tracking, and privacy regulations (ADA, CCPA, GDPR).
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1+) and experience collaborating with accessibility tools or partners.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work cross-functionally with marketing teams, product owners, compliance, and external agency partners.
  • Experience in professional services such as commercial real estate and financial services is preferred.
  • Experience with Jira, Asana, or other project management technology.

Minnesota Residents: Northmarq carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The salary range for the Senior Digital Marketing Specialist position is $85,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually. This range is a good faith estimate and the actual compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
