Systems Engineer (TS/SCI Clearance Required)

North Point Technology is seeking an experienced TS/SCI Cleared Systems Engineer with Citrix/NetScaler and Windows system administration experience to work on cloud-based systems supporting mission critical operations. The team is involved in the operation and sustainment of multiple operational cloud deployed geospatial solutions including dozens of virtual desktops. A successful candidate will be a self-starter and have experience with installation, configuration, administration, support and maintenance of cloud-based systems and the administration of Citrix virtual desktop infrastructure within the cloud.

Required Skills:

• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server
• Windows administration experience
• Experience completing configuration remediation tasks based on security scans
• Citrix/NetScaler administration experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of the systems development life cycle
• Proficient in software integration projects in a service-oriented environment (Cloud, SOA, Web-Services) or virtualized environment.
• Understanding of network administration topics such as subnetting, virtual private clouds, firewalls, and data flows
• Experience with AWS architectures and technologies
• Familiar with Amazon Web Services (S3 Buckets, EC2, Reserved Instances, etc.)
• Familiar with Git/GitLab or other source code control tools
• Familiar with System Engineering documentation creation (VDDs, diagrams, etc.)
• Familiar with team collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience providing systems engineering support for geospatial products
• Citrix certification(s)
• Desktop Virtualization experience
• F5 Administration
• Active Directory Group Policy experience
• PowerShell development
• SAFe Agile Certification
• AWS certification (e.g. Solutions Architect, Developer, DevOps Engineer)

Qualifications:

• Active Top-Secret SCI clearance
• Requires a BS in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or closely related discipline and 4+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2+ years of prior relevant experience; OR 6 years of experience in lieu of degree.
• DoD 8140 Certification (Security+ or equivalent or higher)
