Role Summary
The Data Analyst – Conversion will work remotely as part of the central SAP data team, partnering with SAP functional leads and U.S.-based plant stakeholders to support the evaluation and execution of enterprise SAP data standardization initiatives.
This role focuses on improving data quality, consistency, and usability across the current SAP environment in support of ERP optimization and long-term system consolidation.
The position requires strong SAP master data experience within manufacturing environments and the ability to collaborate across time zones.
Key Responsibilities
• Partner with the central SAP data team to evaluate and execute enterprise data standardization initiatives
• Analyze existing SAP master and transactional data to identify inconsistencies, gaps, duplicates, and data quality issues
• Support data cleansing, mapping, validation, and remediation activities
• Collaborate remotely with SAP functional teams across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Sales to align data structures with business requirements
• Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure accuracy post-standardization and post-conversion
• Support mock conversions, test cycles, and defect resolution related to SAP data migration activities
• Work with U.S. plant stakeholders during validation cycles to confirm operational usability
• Document data standards, business rules, mapping logic, and conversion procedures
• Contribute to ongoing data governance and master data management improvements

Required Qualifications
• Experience supporting SAP data analysis, data conversion, or migration initiatives
• Strong understanding of SAP master data in manufacturing environments
• Experience working with large datasets across multiple plants or business units
• Strong analytical skills with ability to identify patterns, inconsistencies, and root causes
• Ability to work remotely while maintaining strong collaboration with U.S.-based stakeholders
• Strong communication skills in English
• Availability for partial EST time zone overlap
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting SAP ECC to S4 HANA initiatives
• Prior experience in ERP optimization programs
• Familiarity with SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, or FI from a data standpoint
• Experience in master data governance or MDM programs
Work Environment
• Fully remote position based in India
• Must support U.S. EST working hours overlap (minimum 3–4 hours daily)
• Long-term multi-year program
• Collaborative engagement with SAP functional consultants, data architects, and U.S. plant teams
