Scrum Master / Software Engineer - Geospatial Visualization Services (TS/SCI Clearance Required)

North Point Technology is hiring a hands-on Scrum Master / Software Engineer to help lead Agile delivery while contributing to the development and sustainment of mission-critical geospatial visualization capabilities that support GEOINT users across the Federal Government.  North Point Technology supports the Strata program, where engineering teams build, modernize, and sustain GVS capabilities in a fast-paced mission environment. This role is ideal for someone who can drive scrum execution, remove blockers, coordinate across teams, and still contribute technically to software delivery. You will support both current operations and planned enhancements while helping the team maintain strong delivery rhythm and engineering discipline.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will serve as the Scrum Master for a development team responsible for building and maintaining geospatial visualization capabilities across the Strata program. You will lead Agile ceremonies, help manage team execution, remove impediments, coordinate dependencies, and support delivery across current and planned GVS capabilities. You will work closely with developers, product owners, subcontractors, local engineers, and geographically dispersed teammates to keep work moving and ensure priorities are translated into actionable sprint outcomes. In addition to Agile leadership, you will contribute to the development, maintenance, testing, and sustainment of software solutions that support mission operations and future enhancements. You will help the team balance new feature development with sustainment needs while promoting collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, systems engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5 years of professional experience, or 3 years with a related Master’s degree
• 3+ years of software development experience
• Experience serving as a Scrum Master or leading Agile delivery for a software development team
• Experience working in SAFe or other Agile development environments
• Experience with at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, or Python
• Experience collaborating across multiple teams and job functions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, collaborative team environment
• Active Top Secret clearance required to start

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified Scrum Master or similar Agile certification
• Experience with Angular or AngularJS
• Experience migrating AngularJS applications to Angular
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized application environments
• Experience with Red Hat Linux, PostgreSQL, AWS, or Apache
• Experience with Git and modern source control workflows
• Experience contributing to open source projects
• Experience supporting both software sustainment and new feature development in the same environment
• Experience supporting geospatial, visualization, or GEOINT mission applications
