2027 Growth Equity Summer Internship

San Francisco Bay Area

Please note: The Growth Equity Summer Internship is designed for students to complete during the summer immediately preceding their final year of college (i.e., rising seniors).

Norwest is a leading global investment firm with $15.5 billion in assets under management, a 60-year track record, and a portfolio spanning more than 650 companies. Headquartered in Menlo Park, with additional offices in San Francisco, Mumbai, and Tel Aviv, Norwest's 150+ employees worldwide partner with founders and management teams to build enduring, category-defining businesses.

Norwest's Growth Equity team—approximately 40 investment professionals strong—partners with growing, profitable, often founder-owned companies, frequently serving as their first institutional capital partner. The team invests across Technology, Healthcare, Consumer, and Business Services, with investments typically structured to provide liquidity to early shareholders or support strategic M&A initiatives rather than to fund primary capital burn.

Each summer, the team brings on a small cohort of interns for a 10-week Growth Equity Summer Internship, which gives rising seniors hands-on training in investing. Interns learn to source and evaluate new opportunities, build proprietary deal flow, meet prospects in person, and understand the diligence and deal execution process. Ideal candidates have some exposure to or interest in investing, strong hustle and resourcefulness, tolerance for trial and error in sourcing, and a collaborative, self-starter mindset.
