WHY PITCH?
We ask you to create a pitch for 2 main reasons:

1. We’re seeking fellows who are driven to create something extraordinary — individuals who are not only passionate about bringing ideas to life but are eager to master the foundations of building a company. We want every person in the room to be committed, curious, and ready to turn ambition into reality.

2. Over the course of the summer, each fellow will develop and refine their application idea, culminating in a pitch to our Notable investors. The idea can change, but starting with a strong foundation will empower you to make the most of this program. This is your chance to bring your vision to life!

INSTRUCTIONS
Create a compelling 5-minute pitch video for a product, service, or community idea. Your pitch should effectively communicate the core concept, the market gap it addresses, and your plan to execute the business successfully. Elements to consider include:

Idea
Clearly describe the product, service, or community idea. Explain the key features and functionalities that make it unique. Some examples include developing a cafe availability app or creating an exclusive community of executives (ie. Chief).

Identify the Market Gap
Define a specific problem or need in the market that your product or service addresses.

Solution
Explain how your product or service solves this problem or fills the gap. Highlight what differentiates your solution from existing alternatives.

Business Plan Overview
Outline your strategy to bring this idea to market. Components to consider:
(1) Target Market: Who are your ideal customers?
(2) Go-to-Market Strategy: How will you reach and attract these customers?
(3) Business Model: How will the business make money or bring value?
(4) Growth Plan: How will the business expand over time?

Once you submit this application, you will receive an immediate confirmation email and another follow-up email regarding the video application in 24-48 hours. If you have any issues, please email nextgen@notablecap.com.

PLEASE NOTE: You will have 3 takes to record your submission and the 5-minute length will be strictly enforced.

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
