We are looking for a Sr. Account Director to join us as we build cutting-edge technology solutions!  This is your opportunity to be part of a team that is committed to delivering best in class service to our customers.

 In this role you’ll enable solution sales as well as deepen partner relationships by being hands-on and well-versed in emerging technologies. This position requires high collaboration across multiple teams and a strong technical background with a customer-centric approach, providing sales guidance and expertise in architecting solutions.

 Responsibilities:

  • Manage and perform to an annual sales quota.
  • Manage time and effort independently that maximizes the number of sales reach-outs via phone, email, and in-person customer interactions. 
  • Prospect for new clients using traditional networking, industry communities, and business networking tools like LinkedIn.
  • Cultivate relationships with Blueprint’s strategic partners to maximize their exposure to Blueprint’s solutions, services, and products.
  • Manage warm leads through the sales funnel such as amplifying marketing campaigns and working with internal partners to support active marketing campaigns and events.
  • Maintain consistent and detailed use of Blueprint’s CRM system to track and manage all sales activities and pipeline opportunities. 
  • Prepare and present customized proposals and pitches to prospective customers.
  • Promote a positive image for Blueprint by participating in thought leadership activities, writing blogs, and presenting at speaking engagements.
  • Share feedback gleaned from prospect and customer conversations with the Blueprint Technology and Delivery teams to aid in the development of new technology solutions.
  • Maintain awareness of industry best practices, industry trends and technology changes.

Qualifications:

  • 4 – 7 years of consulting sales or delivery experience or data solutions sales experience.
  • Track-record of achieving year over year quota and performance goals.
  • Experience with enterprise selling or implementing products and services that require a long sales cycle and multiple touchpoints within a prospect company.
  • Experience in developing complex proposals that tie technology solutions to business problems.
  • Ability to leverage cross functional and virtual teams to achieve business and technology objectives.
  • Desire to constantly learn new technology solutions, industry trends and patterns in data technology.
  • High level of organization, skill, and experience managing a multi-state outside sales territory.
  • Comfort with negotiating terms of a delivered proposal on a case-by-case basis to achieve closed deals.
  • Experience calling on top-level executives in a competitive business environment.
  • Proficiency with productivity tools such as M365 Suite, Google Workplace, Teams and Slack.
  • Ability to conduct independent market research to identify new customers. 
  • Public speaker skills with ability to design, lead, and moderate meetings with multiple stakeholders representing various departments and disciplines to achieve business outcomes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related field.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Mandatory minimum of 3+ years of Technical Sales and/or Sales Engineering. Experience in data engineering as well as working with customers in a consultative capacity.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Established senior-level industry-relevant contacts are preferred, but not required.

Salary Range

Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic based ranges for Washington state: $145,000 to $160,000 USD/ annually plus commission. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
