We are looking for a UX Research Specialist to join us as we build cutting-edge technology solutions! This is your opportunity to be part of a team that is committed to delivering best in class service to our customers.
In This Role
You will be responsible for conducting user experience research to support a security-focused product suite, including an AI-powered platform integrated across multiple tools. This role involves collaborating with design, content, technical writing, program management, and engineering teams to ensure a coherent and user-friendly experience. You will scope research projects, plan and execute studies, analyze findings, and communicate actionable insights to stakeholders, helping shape the product roadmap and design patterns.
Responsibilities- Work with stakeholders to understand research needs and develop research plans for your product area.
- Partner closely with design, program management, customer experience, and data science teams to develop a deep understanding of customers and inform product decisions.
- Apply a broad range of research techniques—both generative and evaluative—throughout the product lifecycle.
- Design, execute, and analyze research studies to deliver insightful and actionable results.
- Communicate research findings clearly and persuasively to all levels of the product team, including methodology, insights, and design recommendations.
- Build trusted partnerships with stakeholders to influence product roadmaps.
- Contribute to fostering a strong research culture across the team.
- Advanced degree in Psychology, HCI/HFE, HCDE, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of research and design experience.
- Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of qualitative (e.g., ethnography) and quantitative (e.g., data analytics) research methodologies and statistics.
- Proven ability to create research plans and drive progress on key metrics.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to persuade and present findings effectively.
- Experience in security or AI domains.
- Master’s degree or higher (PhD acceptable and may offset required years of experience).
- Familiarity with security and compliance industry standards.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Salary Range
At Blueprint, we strive to offer competitive pay that reflects the value of our team members. Compensation for this role is influenced by a variety of factors, including skills, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographic market.
For candidates based in Washington State, the anticipated salary range is $85,000 to $95,000 annually. Please note that we typically do not hire new employees at the top of the posted range. Actual starting pay will be determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity. The final salary and job title may vary depending on the selected candidate’s qualifications and could fall outside the stated range.
