In This Role
As an Operations Assistant, you will serve as the central force that keeps an office site running smoothly, efficiently, and with a highly people‑centric touch. You’ll oversee daily operations, manage vendor relationships, ensure health and safety compliance, and support space planning efforts — all while building an environment that feels welcoming, inclusive, and energizing for employees. This role blends operations, culture, and cross‑functional coordination, making it ideal for someone who thrives in fast‑moving, evolving environments where autonomy, ownership, and proactive problem‑solving are essential.
Key ResponsibilitiesOffice Operations
- Oversee end‑to‑end daily site operations, ensuring a seamless workplace experience.
- Manage office supplies, meeting room logistics, site rhythm, and general operational workflows.
- Coordinate with onsite security partners to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient environment.
Vendor Management
- Manage relationships with onsite vendors including catering, cleaning, security, events, and other service providers.
- Ensure consistent, high‑quality service levels and maintain strong vendor partnerships.
- Drive improvements in vendor performance and site services.
Health & Safety
- Maintain site compliance with health and safety standards.
- Lead safety programs and champion a safe, inclusive workplace for all employees.
- Identify risks early and implement proactive solutions.
Space Planning & Site Design
- Partner with facilities teams on space planning, seating layouts, site moves, expansions, and occupancy strategy.
- Support long‑term space design considerations for efficiency, comfort, and scale.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Act as the connective link between local teams, facilities partners, workplace programs, and event teams.
- Influence site‑wide improvements and support initiatives that scale across multiple locations.
- Maintain clear communication channels across teams and business partners.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in workplace operations, office management, hospitality leadership, project/program management, events, or related fields.
- Experience working in startup or scale‑up environments with high ambiguity, rapid change, and shifting priorities.
- Proven ability to operate as a strong generalist, wearing multiple hats and pivoting quickly.
- Ability to work autonomously, anticipate needs, and proactively solve problems with minimal oversight.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a people‑first mindset.
- Experience supporting fast‑moving, dynamic teams in high‑growth or evolving environments.
- Experience in tech or high‑growth industries.
- Background as an Executive Assistant, Workplace Manager, Office Manager, or similar high‑touch role.
- Experience supporting orgs through rapid scaling, restructuring, or IPO‑level growth.
- Hospitality, guest‑experience, or customer‑centric leadership experience.
- Strong project or program management skills.
- Experience managing sites with 100–2,500 employees and tailoring support accordingly.
- Employees feel supported, welcomed, and proud of their workplace.
- The site runs with minimal friction and clear ownership.
- Strong, trust‑based relationships exist with vendors and internal partners.
- Issues are detected and resolved before they impact teams.
- You elevate workplace culture with inclusive, thoughtful contributions.
- You bring consistency and excellence across locations while adapting to local nuances.
Salary Range
At Blueprint, we strive to offer competitive pay that reflects the value of our team members. Compensation for this role is influenced by a variety of factors, including skills, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographic market.
For candidates based in Washington State, the anticipated salary range is $25 to $27.88 USD hourly. Please note that we typically do not hire new employees at the top of the posted range. Actual starting pay will be determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity. The final salary and job title may vary depending on the selected candidate’s qualifications and could fall outside the stated range.
