Nous supports organisations in health and aged care to deliver astute policy, programs and patient-centred services. The work of our growing health practice includes working with public health providers, private health companies, peak and professional bodies, community organisations, researchers and government leaders. The work we deliver ranges from health policy and strategy, the design and evaluation of models of care, services and programs, strengthening health and aged care service performance and leadership, to transforming digital systems and more.

Through our recent work, we have:

  • Brought consumers, carers, clinicians, and policy experts together to reform a public infant, child and adolescent system, including designing enhanced models of care.
  • Conducted economic analysis of the gap in funding of rural and urban healthcare, and worked with policymakers to explore solutions to address this.
  • Helped a health agency prepare for future public health emergencies, by developing the optimal governance, processes and operating model to manage emergency and pandemic scenarios.
  • Conducted a review of health care for First Nations people in custodial settings with a team comprising First Nations team members and co-Director.
  • Developed a health care customer relationship management (CRM) roadmap for a group of health services and primary health networks as part of a digital initiative prioritisation framework.

We are looking for Directors in our Health & Ageing practice

As a Health Director, in addition to managing large projects, or, project directing smaller projects, you will extend our positive influence through leveraging your existing relationships and developing new clients, with a focus on the WA market.  You will contribute significantly to project content and drive the delivery of projects across our health practice. You will understand and have an influence on health policy and industry trends, bringing system leaders together to find solutions. You will work closely with colleagues, including peer health principals and directors, and support the growth of team members across Nous. 

You are:

  • Passionate and driven about doing work that matters and creates positive influence, in an environment that values diversity and thrives on creativity.
  • A capable and empathetic leader that can confidently direct and lead teams to develop capability and achieve high quality outcomes for clients.
  • An expert in health & ageing, demonstrating a deep understanding in an area of specialisation, applying methodologies, digital tools, and market knowledge to shape compelling ideas and solutions.
  • Intellectually flexible and innovative with the ability to develop intellectual property through projects, teams and practice groups to enhance our existing methods and frameworks.
  • Engaging and collaborative with the ability to bring energy and enthusiasm for working with clients and colleagues throughout project design and delivery. 

You have:

  • Experience in the health sector and relationships with health system leaders and innovators in WA and nationally. 
  • Experience of using your health expertise to advise and resolve complex problems for government and large private sector organisations.
  • An interest and understanding in specialist issues, such as: hospital management, digital health, evaluation, health finance and other fields of expertise. 
  • Experience in management, leadership and project direction relevant to health and aged care, organisations and/or policy.
