What will you do?

As a key member of our trading team, you’ll serve as a ~professional sports watcher~ and market operator, playing a vital role in how we settle events and manage risk. Your responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring Live Sports and Market Activity: Track games and events in real-time, responding to order flow and market movements on our proprietary trading platform.
• User Segmentation and Dynamic Pricing: Analyze user behavior to adjust pricing and market exposure in response to evolving activity.
• Risk Management: Make informed decisions using internal models, live market data, and up-to-the-minute team/player news to manage our risk profile.
• Collaboration and Tool Improvement: Work closely with our quantitative analysts and trading engineers to refine our models, tools, and overall trading performance.

You’ll operate at the intersection of sports analytics and market theory, leveraging proprietary prediction models, public betting data, and your own game-theoretic intuition to supply liquidity and ensure fair, efficient markets.

• A Solid Grasp of Probability, Statistics, and Risk Management: You understand the fundamentals of market making, pricing, and game theory.
• Deep Sports Knowledge: You’re highly familiar with major American professional and college leagues, and you understand the rhythms and life cycles of these markets.
• Real-Time Decision Making: You thrive in fast-paced, high-stakes environments, making quick, data-driven decisions as events unfold.
• Flexibility: You’re available to work during peak trading hours—primarily weekends and evenings—when the action happens.
