Summary:

  • Backed by some of the best in the game – Forerunner Ventures, YC, Lux, Soma, Paul Graham, Joe Montana, Innospark, the founders of Instacart and Dropbox, and many other top angels and funds
  • Founders are recent Harvard grads with quant experience at Jane Street and BoA and years of experience as sharp sports bettors
  • $300B annually bet on sports in the US and the size of the market is rapidly growing, particularly given the opportunity for operators to capitalize on the sweepstakes business model
  • Currently the only way to bet is with retail sportsbooks, which have egregious margins, discriminatory and inefficient practices, and a stale betting experience
  • Novig is a sports prediction market that guarantees users the best lines by allowing them to play directly against friends or the market, rather than against the house, making the sports trading experience more efficientfair, and, most importantly, profitable

What will you do?

This isn’t a narrow performance marketing job. It’s a blank canvas. You might be technical. You might be a meme lord. You might love a wild stunt or obsess over onboarding flows. You definitely know our space well or are willing to learn it quickly. Whatever your weapon, your mission is to help Novig grow fast. 

  • Create Buzz: Find ways to make Novig the story. Ride cultural waves. Drop stunts that break through. Inject us into the conversation when the internet is watching.
  • Experiment Relentlessly: Build landing pages. Run scrappy A/B tests. Launch surprise promotions. Develop referral mechanics. Work across product, marketing, and ops to turn ideas into results.
  • Build Loops: Drive sustainable, compounding growth through share-ability, and community-led mechanics.
  • Creative Execution: Turn every new product release or app update into an acquisition channel for Novig (think X badges and community notes, IG channels, etc.)  
  • Own Channels: Take our social, email, and lifecycle touchpoints from functional to unforgettable.
  • Think like a Founder: This is a highly entrepreneurial role. You’ll have a ton of freedom and very few constraints. We’re looking for a self-starter who thrives with ownership.

What are we looking for?

  • You’ve shipped something that went viral, moved numbers, or made people say “wait, what?”
  • You’re obsessed with growth—not as a title, but as a mindset.
  • You understand sports culture and internet culture—and know how to bridge the two.
  • You’re creative and resourceful, with the judgment to balance risk and taste.
  • You’re comfortable owning both ideas and execution. You know how to GSD.

Nice to have skills include: 

  • Experience with early-stage startups, consumer products, betting/gaming, or marketplaces
  • Technical chops (basic frontend, no-code, or light scripting experience)
  • Experience with creative tools like Figma, Photoshop, Adobe Premiere CC, or others
  • Experience running paid acquisition, building attribution, or doing user research
