NovoEd’s proven approach to learning connects diverse groups of learners, mentors, and leaders in a high-impact online environment, unlocking your organization’s collective knowledge and driving measurable outcomes.

Role Overview

The Strategic Services Consultant is both a customer-facing strategist and a hands-on learning experience designer/builder of collaborative learning experiences.

You will split your time between:

  • Delivering consulting and Learning Experience Design engagements for customers

  • Partnering with Sales on pre-sales prototypes, strategic consults, and design reviews that accelerate deals and help prospects envision what’s possible on NovoEd

This is a high-impact, client-facing role ideal for someone with a background in corporate learning, talent development, leadership development, or enterprise learning design—especially within large matrixed organizations.

What You’ll Do

1. Customer Consulting and Service Delivery

  • Own multiple concurrent client engagements from project scoping through launch, leading customers through the end-to-end design, build, and deployment of collaborative learning programs on NovoEd

  • Facilitate weekly design sessions with clients to translate existing materials into cohort-based, social, and practice-driven experiences, guiding activity and content design, platform best practices, and iterative build approaches that enable rapid launch.

  • Build or co-build NovoEd courses—including video embedding, writing and editing lesson content, developing and configuring assignments, journey structure, social interaction design, and branding—and support creation of facilitation plans, engagement strategies, and measurement approaches.

  • Train customer facilitators on managing discussions, coaching learners, and driving collaborative engagement; provide post-launch insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Partner with L&D leaders as a trusted advisor and support virtual or in-person design sessions, onboarding workshops, and Business Value Roadmapping sessions to align programs with desired capabilities and business outcomes.

2. Strategic Pre-Sales Consulting

  • Join Sales Reps and Customer Success Managers in early-stage conversations to assess learning needs and advise prospects on strategic program design.

  • Conduct rapid prototypes, mock builds, or collaborative design consults to help prospects visualize their program on NovoEd.

  • Provide design reviews of prospective customers’ existing programs to demonstrate best practices and accelerate decision-making.

  • Offer strategic recommendations on how NovoEd can support large organizational transformation initiatives to drive business impact.

3. Internal Projects and Enablement

  • Contribute to scalable tools and frameworks that strengthen the delivery of NovoEd’s consulting services.

  • Help maintain and enhance standardized course templates that reflect modern design and platform capabilities.

  • Participate in internal initiatives to improve services workflows, methodologies, and operational efficiency.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with our Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to share customer insights and learning strategy expertise on company initiatives

Who You Are

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, Leadership Development, Enterprise Academy design, or a comparable corporate learning function.

  • Strong grounding in adult learning, collaborative learning design, or social learning approaches.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead customer-facing design sessions, facilitate conversations, and translate business needs into learning solutions.

  • Experience managing multiple workstreams and delivering high-quality outputs under deadlines.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.

Preferred

  • Experience working in or consulting for large enterprises (25,000+ employees) with complex stakeholder ecosystems.

  • Instructional design experience building cohort-based or blended online learning programs.

  • Experience launching large-scale learning programs or capability initiatives in complex organizations.

  • Familiarity with learning platforms, LMS/LXP ecosystems, or SaaS implementations.

  • Comfort advising senior L&D, HR, and business stakeholders.

  • Workshop facilitation experience (virtual or in-person).

Why Candidates Love This Role

  • You work with world-class organizations on leadership, culture, and enterprise capability programs that genuinely matter.

  • You bring learning to life—quickly—and see tangible impact within weeks.

  • You advise customers on modern learning approaches that go far beyond traditional LMSs.

  • You get to blend strategic consulting with hands-on program building.

  • You join a team of learning strategists passionate about transforming how large organizations learn.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
