Mission Focus: NT Concepts is seeking a EHS and Usability Technical Analyst to support the DoD enterprise Military Housing system. This complex system of 34 web-based modules is used by over 10,000 active users to meet the housing needs of over 2.5 million service members, DoD civilians, and their families.

Clearance: Active Secret clearance

Location/Flexibility: Local to the DC Metro Area, Remote Flexible

Responsibilities: 

The EHS and Usability Technical Analyst will provide full-time technical and analytical support for the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) module within the Enterprise Military Housing (eMH) system. This role will also oversee usability across all eMH modules, ensuring compliance with Department of Defense (DoD), federal, and state requirements as well as industry best practices for residential housing. The analyst will combine expertise in environmental health and safety, enterprise system design, and usability oversight to enhance system performance and user experience.

EHS Technical Analysis and Support:

  • Provide technical analysis and subject matter expertise for the EHS module, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and DoD environmental, health, and safety requirements for military housing.
  • Stay up to date on DoD Housing facility criteria and industry standards for residential housing and incorporate them into system design and development.
  • Apply knowledge of DoD housing facility criteria and residential housing industry standards to system design and development.
  • Support the integration of EHS requirements into workflows, reporting, and compliance tracking.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders, understanding the mission and boundaries.

 Usability Oversight:

  • Oversee usability across all eMH modules, ensuring intuitive design, efficient workflows, and positive end-user experiences.
  • Conduct usability assessments, identify areas for improvement, and collaborate with development teams to implement enhancements.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify areas for improvement and optimize user experiences across the system.

Enterprise Application Design and Development:

  • Support the design and development of applications for large-scale enterprise systems with multiple functional business lines.
  • Contribute to workflow process design to improve operational efficiency across modules.
  • Translate business and compliance requirements into actionable technical specifications.
  • Lead efforts to streamline workflow processes and enhance system functionality for improved efficiency.

IT Development and Process Knowledge:

  • Apply knowledge of IT development processes and methodologies to guide system improvements.
  • Collaborate with developers, system administrators, and business stakeholders to ensure technical solutions meet operational and compliance objectives.

Quantitative and Qualitative Analysis:

  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to evaluate EHS module performance, usability, and compliance.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to guide decision-making, improve workflows, and enhance user satisfaction.

Qualifications: 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Certifications: Active CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD 8140-compliant certification (or ability to obtain).
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and DoD environmental, health, and safety requirements for military housing.
  • Translate business requirements into actionable development tasks, ensuring seamless communication between stakeholders and development teams
  • Strong background in federal, state, and DoD EHS requirements for military housing.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of DoD Housing facility criteria and industry practices in residential housing.
  • Experience with system analysis, usability testing, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills for performance evaluation and decision-making.
  • Ability to analyze data, interpret results, and make recommendations for process improvements.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with other teams to ensure EHS compliance and system usability.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders and documenting findings.

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of DoD housing requirements and industry-specific software tools.
  • Experience with human-centered design methodologies and usability assessments for enterprise applications.

Physical Requirements: 

  • Prolonged periods sitting and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
