NTT DATA is looking for high-achieving team players that are quickly adaptable to new challenges and entrepreneurial ventures. We are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to work in Dallas, TX with our global client. Onsite presence at the client site is preferred 2-3 days/week,
Responsibilities:
- Provide project management for Waterfall development projects and manages IT PMO administrative tasks such as project planning, stakeholder management, risk management, capital reporting, status reporting, project deliverable follow up, and project timeline management.
- Coordinate and manage technology development or implementation projects from inception to delivery, including meetings, tracking, reporting, and UAT.
- Oversee work performed by IT teams and internal business owners; facilitate requirements gathering and documentation with stakeholders.
- Produce weekly/monthly project status reports; resolve issues, mitigate risks, and manage scope changes.
- Track budgets, progress, and project deliverables; coordinate rollout activities.
- Promote cooperation across roles, remove barriers, shield teams from external interferences, and manage dependencies.
- Implement PMO control procedures and prioritize/track issues with appropriate remediation plans.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience managing system implementation projects.
- 7+ years of experience with the full SDLC systems/software development and implementations.
- Advanced skills in project management, mediation, negotiation, leadership, analysis, facilitation, and client relationship building.
- Expertise in project financials, including time entry, invoice tracking, actuals/forecasting, and resource capacity planning.
- Proficient in using project management tools such as Planview and Clarity.
- Strong organizational abilities and expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and Google Docs.
- Proven ability to excel in challenging work environments.
- Builds and maintains strong customer relationships with trust and respect.
- Solves customer problems, ensures commitments are met, and sets achievable expectations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication and active listening.
- Ability to clearly and concisely present complex information.
- Approachable style that fosters collaboration across organizational levels, with diplomacy and tact.
- Skilled in logical problem-solving and analysis, breaking down and simplifying complex issues.
- Identifies hidden problems and implements effective solutions
- Collaborates effectively to resolve issues and mitigate risks.
- Results-driven approach, consistently exceeding goals and prioritizing tasks.
