
Lead Technical Architect
General Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lead Technical Architect specialized in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to define the technical architecture and guide the development of a large-scale migration and redesign of a high-content institutional website.
This individual will be responsible for setting the technical foundations of the solution, defining reusable components, structuring content and experience fragments, and designing automated migration strategies.
The role requires a hands-on leader with deep AEM expertise and the ability to collaborate closely with both technical and functional teams. The ideal candidate will take ownership of the solution’s integrity and scalability from day one.

🎯 Key Responsibilities
• Lead the technical architecture of the AEM-based solution for a complex website migration.
• Define custom components, templates, policies, and models ensuring modularity and reuse.
• Design and implement a strategy for Content Fragments and Experience Fragments aligned with the new content model.
• Design scripts and processes for automated content migration from legacy systems into AEM.
• Set coding standards and architectural guidelines; review code from development teams.
• Collaborate with UX, content, and business teams to ensure alignment between functional requirements and technical implementation.
• Identify risks and estimate effort for technical tasks in collaboration with PMs.
• Support ongoing performance tuning, scalability reviews, and security best practices.

✅ Requirements
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager, ideally including AEM as a Cloud Service.
• Proven experience in site migrations or large-scale CMS implementations with complex content structures.
• Advanced knowledge of AEM development: custom components, Sling models, HTL, OSGi services, workflows, Dispatcher configs.
• Solid experience implementing Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, and structured content models.
• Experience designing and executing content migration strategies using AEM APIs or scripting tools.
• Ability to lead a development team and enforce architectural best practices.
• Familiarity with Adobe ecosystem integrations (Assets, Analytics, Target) is a plus.
• AEM certifications (Developer, Architect) are highly desirable.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written) – daily collaboration with international teams is expected.
