NTT DATA is looking for high-achieving team players that are quickly adaptable to new challenges and entrepreneurial ventures. We are looking for a Product Owner to work onsite in Washington, DC with our global client.

Overview

The Product Owner (PO) is responsible for defining the product vision, managing the product backlog, and ensuring the delivery of high-value features aligned with business objectives for the STEP v2 OutSystems platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and priorities.
  • Own and manage the product backlog:
    • Create, prioritize, and refine user stories
    • Define acceptance criteria
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders regarding product decisions.
  • Ensure alignment between business goals and development deliverables.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects and development teams to ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture and OutSystems best practices.
  • Lead sprint planning and backlog grooming sessions.
  • Validate deliverables and accept/reject completed work.
  • Ensure timely delivery of features and incremental value.
  • Monitor product performance and recommend improvements.
  • Manage dependencies, risks, and scope changes.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards and governance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related discipline.
  • 6+ years of experience in product management or as a Product Owner.
  • Strong experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Proven track record of managing enterprise-level digital products.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (development, UX, architecture).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with OutSystems or other low-code platforms.
  • Knowledge of enterprise platforms, APIs, and system integrations.
  • Experience in digital transformation or modernization projects.
  • Certification(s) such as:
    • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent
  • Familiarity with DevOps processes and tools.

Optional (Nice-to-Have)

  • Experience working with international organizations or large institutions

  • Experience with cloud environments (Azure preferred)
  • Exposure to microservices architecture and API-first design
