Technical Project Manager

New Haven, Connecticut, United States

Location: 100% onsite in Orange, CT

Contract Length: 3 years, with potential for extension.

Contract Rate: $80-90 per hour in USD. Final rate will be determined based on relevant experience and overall fit for the position.

NTT DATA is seeking experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to lead and coordinate infrastructure-related activities supporting a large-scale enterprise SAP cloud transformation program. This role will serve as the primary point of coordination across infrastructure, networking, security, cloud platform providers, and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of critical technology initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate all infrastructure activities related to the SAP S/4HANA RISE implementation and other SAP public cloud platforms.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between SAP, cloud providers, managed service partners, infrastructure teams, networking teams, cybersecurity teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Manage infrastructure planning, readiness, and delivery activities related to cloud connectivity, networking, security, identity management, and integrations.
  • Coordinate environment provisioning, system connectivity, disaster recovery, operational readiness, and infrastructure support activities.
  • Identify project risks, dependencies, and issues and drive resolution across cross-functional teams.
  • Track milestones, deliverables, and project status while providing regular updates to leadership.
  • Facilitate technical planning sessions, governance reviews, and architecture discussions.
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, and infrastructure policies.

Required Experience:

  • 7+ years of proven experience managing complex IT Infrastructure projects within large enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of Cloud Infrastructure, Enterprise Networking, Cybersecurity, Identity & Access Management, Enterprise Architecture principles.
  • Experience coordinating multiple technical teams, stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
  • Strong project management, communication, stakeholder management, and risk management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills.
  • Proactive, self-driven approach and ability to work independently.

Education & Certifications:

  • Must hold an active PMP certification.

Required Equipment: This role requires the use of a personal laptop. Candidates must be comfortable with company security software and device management tools being installed on their laptop as part of the onboarding process and for the duration of the engagement.
