About the Role

A Finance Data Analyst is close to many different tasks of the Finance Area, allowing the person that joins an overview of the financial operations and the many products that Nubank has to offer. The daily activities is to ensure the delivery of reliable and auditable data for various purposes, such as accounting, regulatory, planning, among others.

By taking a proactive approach, the Finance Data Analyst will help maintain our platforms as cohesive, efficient, and scalable. Their contributions will enhance the accuracy and timeliness of financial data, supporting our team's mission to deliver high-quality and accessible financial information.

You will be responsible for

  • Understanding, designing and developing the financial needs for accounting, regulatory or other financial processes;
  • Creating data processes through the usage of Spark Scala in Databricks notebooks and/or ETL;
  • Mapping data sources by talking with different stakeholders in the organization;
  • Generating reports related to financial information products, through the use of large databases and data visualization tools that contribute to the access of dynamic and accessible information to different stakeholders.

 

We are looking for a person who has

  • Good analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders;
  • A passion for business, economy, finance and technology content;
  • Experience in SQL or other programming languages for data analysis (Python, for example);
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English
  • Teamwork: Effective team player with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven skills in stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Prioritization: Keen sense of prioritization and task management.
  • Knowledge of Accounting and/or Regulatory Reports would be a plus
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in Portuguese and Spanish would be a plus.
  • Familiarity with a banking business model would be a plus

Our Nu Way of Working

Our work model is hybrid and has cycles that can be from two to three months according to the business of ​​expertise. For every eleven weeks of remote work, one will be at the office.
