Clojure Developer Advocate in Product Enablement

Main activities:

• Develop and maintain metrics about community size and growth
• Drive initiatives to increase Clojure awareness and use
• Publish and promote use cases describing Clojure success stories
• Establish and maintain community communication channels
• Maintain and improve Clojure web site and other online resources
• Create or promote resources targeted to different audiences of existing or potential users of Clojure
• Develop and maintain strategy for funding community developers doing important open-source and community work
• Support the Clojure community for events and other needs

     Mandatory skills

• Programming proficiency in one or more programming languages
• Experience with Git and GitHub
• Strong technical writing skills
• Experience with community relations, developer advocacy, or developer relations or other developer marketing experience
• Experience with moderating online communities

Nice to have skills

• Experience with Clojure or other functional language
• Experience with the Java Virtual Machine
• Event planning or organization experience
• Experience with AWS, particularly for web site hosting, e.g. S3, Cloudfront, Route 53
• Public speaking experience
