About the role

At Nu Mexico, we're on the hunt for a proactive and visionary Senior Product Lead to transform our customer onboarding experience. In this key role, you'll set the strategic direction for acquiring and activating customers, ensuring they quickly become Nu lovers within their first month.

Your work will be vital to Nu's mission of building trust and loyalty from day one, paving the way for lasting customer satisfaction and advocacy. By reimagining the customer journey, you'll directly impact our retention and brand loyalty, driving growth and strengthening our market position in Mexico.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Leading multiple cross functional squads responsible for redesigning and optimizing the onboarding experience, growth operations (physical card delivery) and Member Get Member program.
  • Collaborate with global teams like growth, KYC, credit strategy and card logistics to ensure customer onboarding experience is magical.
  • Navigating the complexities of multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring alignment and tackling bottlenecks to achieve outstanding conversion rates.
  • Developing onboarding strategies that exceed our customer experience standards, setting the stage for a seamless transition to become a highly engaged Nu customer
  • Managing regulatory onboarding requirements while simultaneously reducing customer friction.

We are looking for a person who has

  • Proven track record of leading multi-disciplinary teams (engineering, product, analytics & design) in dynamic environments, ideally within fintech or tech sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in creating and optimizing complex product flows, improving digital onboarding experiences and conversion rate.
  • Experience in product led growth experimentation to remove friction and unlock value for the customer.
  • Strong ability to manage complex projects and exert influence across cross-functional teams.
  • Outstanding ability to communicate in Spanish and English and to collaborate effectively, serving as the bridge between Growth Mexico and global teams.
  • Proficient at using data analytics tools to gather insights and make decisions effectively.

Our Nu Way of Working 

Our work model is hybrid and has cycles that can be from two to three months according to the business of ​​expertise. For every eight or twelve weeks of remote work, one will be at the office.
