About the role
Ensure the sustainable Nubank's growth supporting the health strategy and operational routines, through:
- The best experience to the nubankers, so they can love the health services just as much as we want our customers to love us (fanatically!);
- Guarantee the global health strategy is aligned to the best interest and health trends of each country, adapting the global requirements to local legal requirements and operational demands of the health services, monitoring indicators and giving constant feedback to the global leader, working closely to key stakeholders.
- In order to achieve that, our International Health Specialist is responsible for implementing health programs, supporting employees and managing the vendors that provide the health service in countries other than Brazil.
What does an International Health Specialist do…
- Design and implement health programs tailored to diverse international settings, specially Mexico and Colombia, adapt the programs according to the varying health needs across different regions
- Ensure compliance with local and international health laws
- Provide personalized guidance and support to employees, focusing on health matters, mental health issues, and workplace safety, facilitating access to healthcare resources when necessary
- Collaborate with global health leaders and HR teams to integrate health programs within a broader strategic framework
- Conducting health risk assessments for international employees and coordinating preventive measures, identifying potential health risks in various environments and mitigating these risks through proactive measures
- Manage international third parties and healthcare vendors to ensure high-quality medical care for employees, maintaining effective partnerships with local healthcare providers and insurers
- Manage and escalate complex health cases when necessary, ensuring adequate resolution and employee support
Qualifications:
You will succeed if…
Have a Bachelor's Degree in Medicine, Nursing or other health areas.
You are good with oral and written communication in English.
You have excellent reporting skills.
You are a proactive, autonomous person and have an interest in owning your routines and creating processes and improving them, but at the same time, understand that there are regulatory activities that need to be followed and different expectations from stakeholders that need to be met.
You are able to meet deadlines and to be flexible to adapt to changing conditions.
You can communicate clearly, succinctly and effectively.
You feel good to be constantly challenged to learn and do more.
You believe in a more just and ethical society and Nubank's values and culture.
You have a strong sense of integrity and responsibility handling sensitive information.

Have good oral and written communication in Spanish
Have additional certification in occupational and/or corporate health
Have previous experience working with different countries and cultures and implementing health programs in these countries
Have knowledge of project management

*Interviewing and onboarding are currently done virtually. After hiring, we will require a fixed cadence of visiting the office in which employees go to their Business Unit's (BU) base location. Employees will have an employment contract based on the cities that Nu’s offices are located, considering their country of hire. More details can be shared during your hiring process.
